Chapter 15: Le Loup vs Zorro de Sombra

Alya POV

I never felt so empty in my life.

My bestie Marinette has been kidnapped. The Miracle Box has been taken. And now, Adrien and Lilly are dating.

This is nightmare. 

I received a call from Nino that we should meet up before school. I went to our usual spot and saw them sitting under the tree. 

"So what is it you wanted to talk to me about?" I asked as I sat next to Nino.

Alex and Nino exchanged looks and told me their entire conversation.

After hearing this, I felt my entire heart drop.

"Lilly and Claire are Lila and Chloe!?" I gasped. They nodded.  "We have to tell everyone!"

"Are they even going to believe us?" Nino asked.

"They'd better. Or we're screwed." Alex said. 

Then, we heard a scream. We got up and followed the crowd.

Alex POV

Then we saw a man dressed in a black fox jumpsuit with red boots, a black fedora and a dark orange fox mask. He was holding Juleka and Rose at sword point.

"Whoever has the remaining miraculous, hand them over. Unless you want me to behead this  girl." The man said.

I quickly pushed the button in my watch and swapped my clothes for my vigilante outfit and leaped in front of Juleka.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"The name's Zorro de Sombra. Or Black Fox. I'm here for the Tiger and Pig miraculous . Tell your friend to hand it over and no one gets hurt." The man said a he twirled his rapier.

"I've got a better idea." I said and pulled out my  eskrimas. "How about I beat you down and take the fox miraculous from you?" 

"Now you've stepped in it, El Lobo." Zorro replied and lunged at me. I quickly deflected his blows with my eskrima sticks. 

"Nino! Alya! Get Juleka and Rose out if here!" I called out as I dodged another sword swipe.

Nino and Alya lead Rose and Juleka away from the fight. We exchanged blows as the crowd cheered me on. 

"MIRAGE!" Zorro shouted. A black mist appeared and multiple duplicates of him appeared and lunged at me. I quickly dodge their attacks and struck them down. More kept appearing.

"Damn it. They just keep going." I panted. 

"Alex! Look out!" Kim shouted.

I looked up and dodged an attack from Zorro's clone. I tossed a few throwing knives at the clones, causing a few to disperse. Then, I saw one of them dodge the knife. 

I grinned. "Gotcha." I ran through the clones, taking them down one by one and dropkicked the real Zorro. He fell on his back. The other clones disappeared. 

"Mierda!" He exclaimed and tried to reach for his sword. I picked it up and pointed it at him.

"Talk. Where is Marinette?" I said as I pushed the blade towards his throat.

"She's probably dead anyway." Zorro chuckled.

Alya took the sword from me and stabbed it into Zorro's leg. He cursed loudly.

"Where is my bestie, you bastard!? Tell me!" She roared. I was shocked by Alya's attitude. I've never seen her so furious.

"You best tell her. Or I can't guarantee your survival." Nino said, giving me an equally shocked look.

"It doesn't matter. Madam Peacock will soon rule the world. And their is nothing you can-." I wacked my eskrima in his forehead, knocking him out. I took the Fox miraculous from him and gave it to Alya.

"We'll find Marinette, Alya. I promise." I said.

"We'd better. When I get my hands on Lila." She said.

"Wait. Lila? But she's on the run." Rose said.

We exchanged looks and nodded. 

"Then you should all know this." I said.

Chloe POV

I heard everything. Including the fact I'm not in prison and has taken up a different alias. I cursed under my breath and ran away. 

I have to tell Lila about this.
