Zoe POV
I regained consciousness and found myself in an alleyway.
"You're awake. Merci, Dieu." Joseph sighed. He had a bandage on his arm and head. I looked down and saw a bandage on my stomach.
"Thank you, Joseph." I said. Joseph nodded and winced. I looked and gasped at the sight of his stomach. It had a large gash on it.
"Yup, I'm screwed." He said and sat on the ground. He pulled out a lighter and placed it onto his stomach wound. "I'll live" He added as he cauterised his wound, wincing in pain.
"You've done this before?" I asked.
"Yeah. I'm a ex cop after all." He said and picked himself up from the ground. He gave me a bee hairclip. "I snatched this from Chloe. I think this belongs to you now."
I looked at the hairclip and nodded. I clipped it onto my hair and saw a tiny bug like creature. A bee.
"You're a kwami." I gasped.
"That I am. My name is Pollen. I am in your care now, My Queen." She said with a bow.
"Alright. If I remember correctly. I believe it's Pollen, Buzz on." I said and instantly found myself wearing a bee jumpsuit, black and yellow boots and a matching mask. I also have a bee themed spinning top on my waist.
"Well, guess I was right." I said.
"So, what are you going to call yourself? Bee girl? Honey bee?" Joseph asked.
"Vesperia." I said, striking a pose.
"Isn't that Latin for Evening Star?" He asked.
"How did you know?" I gasped.
"I got a PHD in Latin." He said and cocked his pistol. "OK, Vesperia. Let's roll."
I nodded and joined the fight.
