"Arianna, I think this might be a good time to practice your healing powers." "She watched as Caleb was lying on the floor, unconscious. "Nice one, Hannah!" Ethan said. "Okay, how am I supposed to heal him?!" "Well......um......I'm not exactly sure." "What?!" "Well, I don't have healing powers, so I don't know how to use them. Only you do." "But I don't!" "It's okay, just concentrate and it will come to you." Arianna closed her eyes. How was she supposed to do this?! "Try imagining yourself healing him." Chris said. Arianna tried to imagine herself doing that but she didn't know how. She imagined him regaining consciousness. "Once you know how to do it, you will be able to heal anything instantly. Humans, animals, plants." Plants?! Why would she want to heal plants?! They aren't alive! Oh wait........yes they are. She was getting off track. She had to concentrate. She opened her eyes. Still nothing was happening. With her eyes still open, she thought, if only she had gotten her powers a month earlier. She might have been able to save her dog, Novalee. Her dog had a tumor in her brain, and it had exploded. Her dogs eyes had swelled, turned a deep, blood red, and popped out of her skull. They were still hanging from her eyes sockets when Arianna had to take her the vet to get her put down. It was one of the saddest days of her life. If she had her powers, Novalee might still be alive. All that emotion from the past was welling up inside of her, maybe that was what triggered it. Emotion. Suddenly, sparks shot out of her hands. They were almost like electrical sparks. They shot towards Caleb and he instantly awoke. He gasped, filling his lungs with air. "What.....what happened." "Hannah knocked you out," she answered. Caleb gave Hannah a glare. Not a truly hateful glare. Just a 'I hate you' kind of glare. "Anyway, thank Arianna for brining you back safely." Chris said. "Thanks" "Sure" she answered back. "Okay, so back to training." "Wait, shouldn't Caleb rest?" Arianna asked."No. Your healing him, made him perfectly fine. Everyone, back to training, and Hannah, Arianna, I need to speak with you." She and Hannah followed him away from the boys. "So, Ethan and Caleb like you two." "What?!" Hannah and Arianna said together in confusion. "Nothing. Never mind. I didn't read their minds or anything." Hannah and Arianna stared at each other in confusion."Anyway, Ethan has his super strength to fight with, and Caleb, besides his powers, knows karate. You two, on the other hand, don't know very much." "Umm....No!" Hannah said. "Are you accusing us of being useless?!" Arianna questioned him "No, no, no. It's just, well, you need a little more to fight with, that's all. You are girls and a little more mature than the boys, so I think you will be able to handle these. "Hannah," Chris said as he brought out this huge bow,"You can fly, so this will be a huge advantage to you. I got you some normal arrows to practice with, but in real battle you will need these poisonous arrows for your very own bow." Arianna stared in awe. This whole time she was just thinking how lucky Hannah was. "Wow," Hannah said, "Just.....Wow!" "Okay, so what do I get?!" "You get a sword." "That's it! That's it!!!!!!!" She was getting really mad. Hannah got this awesome bow, and she got a sword. But her jealousy disappeared as Chris brought out a freaking massive, awesome double sword! He handed it to her and it instantly burst into flames. She stood back, away from the others with fear of them catching on fire. She put out the fire. "Oh. My. Gosh! This is awesome!!!!! The guys will be so jealous of us!" "I know right!" "Okay, you two go practice. We have about an hour left of training today." "Okay!" As they ran back out into the training area, they stopped by Caleb and Ethan. Just to show off a little. "What are those?!" Ethan asked. "Yeah are they for us? Because you two are too girly to handle those awesome things." They tried to reach over and grab the bow and the sword, and as if on cue, Hannah drew back her bow, and Arianna ignited her sword. "Step. Away."
