Arianna had just put in her contact lenses. It had taken her over an hour but she had finally gotten them in. Thank god, her eyes were getting so red from touching them so much. Especially in training and her first battle, it was hard to fight when she couldn't make things out very clearly and now she didn't have to. Anyway, Chris had said a while back that they would need to conceal their identity. They had all agreed on the easiest way of doing that was getting contacts. Arianna's were prescription but everyone else's weren't. Their's were just colored. Hannah, Caleb, and Ethan were going to the eye doctor next week to get their lenses. Chris's deal was that, they would leave their eyes as normal, and Arianna would wear her normal contacts to school, and out in public. But, when they were training, and in battle, they would wear their contacts. Arianna was changing her eye color from chestnut brown, to fire red with the contacts. Caleb was changing his from a grey-blue, to ice blue. Ethan, from chocolate brown, to coal black, and Hannah from blue-green, to rainbow. Yeah! Freakin' rainbow!!! It was going to look so cool! The doctor, Dr. Brine, suggested that Arianna take a look outside to test out her contacts while she took care of another patient. Arianna headed for the glass doors. She stopped, staring at the door, seeing herself for the first time with red eyes. If she looked hard enough she could see some movement behind the contact. It looked like sparks from a fire shooting out of her eye, trying to escape but we're blocked by her contact. It was so weird. Arianna looked through the glass to find an orange van, one just like Chris's. " Funny," she thought to herself. It seemed just moments ago it wasn't there, but suddenly it was. "Oh well," Arianna muttered, stepping out the door. Suddenly, Arianna thought she heard someone screaming her name from the van, but she couldn't be sure. The scream was muffled. She heard the door of the van slide open and someone running out. It was Hannah! What was she doing here?! Caleb came out right after. "Ari.........anna........"Hannah said gasping for breath, " We........we need your........help." She had barely managed to get that out. Hannah turned and gestured to Caleb, still breathing heavily. Caleb ran back to he van, grasped something inside, and pulled it out with a heave as he huffed. Out of the van fell a body. "Oh my god!" Arianna exclaimed as she realized that the body belonged to Chris. "What did you do to him?!" "It's a long story," Hannah explained, "We'll tell you later. Right now you need to heal him, so he can go to the hospital pretending to be Ethan's dad, get Ethan out of there so you can heal Ethan too." "Okay," Arianna said, still confused. "Why would she need to heal Ethan?!" She thought, holding her hands out towards Chris and closing her eyes, concentrating. Before she knew it, the same, beautiful electric sparks shot out of her hands. She loved the feeling of healing. It felt like an electric shock was being sent from her heart all over her body. It felt good though, not painful, but like she was being energized. She knew that was strange, considering she couldn't heal herself. In a matter of seconds, Chris awoke looking groggy, "Uh.......wha.............where?!" He asked with a confused look on his face. "Wait, I........I remember, hitting the ground hard, but it didn't hurt anymore after my everything went dark. And......and wait....I remember........Ethan killed me!" "What?!" Arianna asked, "Ethan killed you?!" "Yes, yes we'll explain in the van on the way back to the hospital, okay?" Hannah said,"But right now, we need to get to the hospital, and hurry, Chris" "Okay, everybody lets go!" Chris said. "Umm, guys" Arianna said nervously pointing at the door, leading into the doctor's office. Everybody turned their heads to see what Arianna was pointing at. There, at the door, they saw a female optometrist staring through the glass door, looking at them with a terrified look on her face. "Looks like we've just been discovered," Chris said, "Grab her!!"
