Ethan, Arianna, Caleb, and Hannah were all running down the hall to the office. They were getting pulled out of school for their first mission to put out a wildfire! Even though Arianna could really take care of this by herself, Chris wanted them all to come for the experience. They all went into the van to be teleported straight to the fire. "Perfect timing," Ethan said, "We were just about to take a test." Everyone laughed at that (except for Chris) as they were teleported. They got out of the van to find themselves in the midst of the fire. Arianna cleared an area for them to stand in. Then she went to finish off the fire. "Okay, once Arianna finishes, Hannah, I want you to make it rain. The grass will be extra dry, and the fire can easily start back up again with this hot sun out today." "Okay," Hannah said. Dark, gray storm clouds started to gather in the sky. Arianna ran back to join us. "Done!" She said. "Quick! Everyone in the van!" Hannah yelled. Ethan closed the last door of the van just as it started pouring rain. "Good save, Hannah!" Caleb said. The rain was thrumming against the windows, hard. For some reason, Caleb rolled down the window and started laughing as everyone got soaked. "Really Caleb?!" Everyone said, almost in perfect unison. "Hannah made me!" He cried out. "Yeah right!" Hannah retorted. " Stop acting like children! And Caleb, roll up that window! Now!" Chris yelled as he was setting the teleportation numbers to go back to school." But we are children!" Caleb yelled back. Chris pulled out a gun. "Okay, okay! I'm rolling, I'm rolling!" "Aww.....do we have to go back to school?!," Ethan asked. Suddenly the van was getting hit with bullets. "I guess not," Chris said. "What is that?!" Hannah asked in a panicked voice. "Rahn." Everyone was silent. Was this their first battle? Already?! One of the bullets hit the gas tank and it started making a hissing sound. "Everyone out of the van!" Chris screamed. "Go! Go! Go!" They all ran out of the van as it exploded!Hannah fell to the ground from the force of the explosion. Ethan helped her up. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Yes, fine. Thanks." She responded. When they turned their attention away from the van, they found themselves faced with who appeared to be Rahn, and a young girl who seemed like she was about their age. Ethan thought she was beautiful. They started running for the Five, weapons in hand. Ethan had no choice but to run towards them with everyone else. The girl pinned him down. Huh! Fool! Ethan thought. Didn't she know how easily he could throw her off.
She stared into his eyes. "Hi, I'm K," she said in a flirtatious voice. Then she grinned, evilly. Suddenly, Ethan didn't want to hurt her. She was so beautiful. She got off him and he stood up. He watched as she stood, perfectly calm as Caleb and Chris charged at her. She tried to catch their eyes. "Caleb!" Chris called, "Don't look into her eyes!" But it was too late. Caleb had stopped running and started drooling. Ethan looked up at Chris. He too was drooling. They were all in a trance and there was nothing they could do about it.
