Ethan had just come back from his basketball tryouts and was exhausted. He wouldn't be sure if he'd made the team until the next morning. He really, really hopes he makes it. As he got home, he grabbed a shower and started eating a sandwich. "Mm mm" he said aloud. It was a really good sandwich. All of a sudden he got a call on his communicator. "It's Chris!! I need you guys quick!!" "But I thought we got today off from practice!!" Ethan heard Caleb complain. "Yeah!" He mumbled through his mouthful of sandwich. "This isn't practice." Chris said sincerely. "I'm giving Hannah my coordinates. She'll come pick you guys up." "What about Arianna?" Caleb asked. There was no answer. Then there was a knock at Ethan's door. "Aww man! My sandwich!" He complained. He opened up his door to see Hannah. "Come on, we gotta go." She said as she flew them both out of there.
"Wait, wait, wait! What is going on here?!" Ethan asked as she landed him in front of a restaurant. She just shrugged her shoulders and went to pick up Caleb. Ethan ran into the restaurant to find almost everyone either running out the door or hiding under their tables. Ethan spotted Chris and Ciana. He ran up to them and helped them up off the floor. "What's going on?!" He asked. Chris just pointed toward a gaping hole in the side of the restaurant. Standing there was Arianna. Ethan was in utter shock. He stood there helplessly as she threw another fireball at them causing another huge explosion throwing Ethan, Chris, and Ciana back on the floor knocking them out cold.
