Jumping onto his father's lap, Goten giggles. "We're having a movie night today! Mama said, that's what we're doing! Is that true, papa? His voice, full of enthusiasm. Bouncing in his arms, the seven-year-old twists his head and beams at his mother. "Mom! We're gonna watch a movie as Trunks does with his parents!"

"We've watched movies before, Goten." Chi-Chi corrects, oblivious to why the youngster was thrilled. "Right, Gohan?"

Sitting adjacent to his parents, he scratches the back of his neck. "Well, mom, this is his first time with dad."

Lifting the child over his head, Goku chuckles. "I forgot how ya've been goin' on 'bout that all day! Appears ya told your mother nothin' or she's oblivious just like me. Ehehehe!"

"Goku! Don't talk 'bout me like that in front of the children!" Unamused, she punches her husband's shoulder.

Twisting his body, he ensures his son's safety, having her fist hit his upper back. "Hey! I have a kid, Chi! Ya can't just go at me like that!"

"Ya have 'ta be kiddin' me, Goku-sa! Yer all tougher than me! Grow a pair! It ain't like any harm would come 'ta him!" The female grunts, brows furrowing.

"Chi-Chi! Ya can't say that 'ta a child! I might have 'ta report ya 'ta the authorities." The Saiyan jeers, enjoying her reactions more than he should.

Eyes narrowing, her lips snap shut as she stares in disgust at her mate. Closing herself from him, she crosses her arms and scoots to the end of the couch. She didn't have time for fun and games, especially not these ones!

Choosing to ignore his parents' nonsense, Gohan monkeyed with the remote. The sooner they started the movie, the shorter this bickering would cease!

"Ahh - Chi-Chi! I was only jokin'! Ya take things so seriously sometimes. Ya can relax a bit y'know!"

"I can't when ya talk 'bout reportin' me 'ta the authorities." The obsidian-haired woman remarks - paying no attention to her husband.

Sticking out his lips, her husband had no response. Perhaps he did take things too far - he should know better that Chi-Chi was a sensitive soul.

With no idea of what was unfolding, Goten pushes his father, indicating he doesn't want to cuddle with him anymore. Climbing off Goku, he went to his mother and attempted yanking her arms apart. "Mama, don't be sad. I'll make you happy."

Opening herself to her seven-year-old, she swoops him up and nuzzles him. "Oh! Of course! Ya always make it better!"

Watching it unfold, Goku's nose twitches. He was supposed to do that for his wife - be her comfort! Sulking, he sinks into the couch.

"I'm going to start the movie now!" Gohan announces with no regard for the nonsense the rest of his family was pulling. Spotting his father, he decides not to say anything. Man, did he hope that he and Videl wouldn't be like this! His parents sure could be ridiculous at times! Or a lot of it.

Sliding off his mom, he struggles due to her hanging onto him. "I gotta turn off the lights! That's how we watch movies, remember!" He scrambles over and switches off the lights. "There!" Hopping back on the couch climbs back on his mother and immediately turns his attention to the movie.

Fifteen minutes in, Chi-Chiglances over and catches her husband's eyes boring into her. Startled, she flinches.

Instantly, Goten checks on his mother as she would him. "You okay, mama? Ya twitched."

"Mhm. I'm fine. Don't worry 'bout me, baby." She brushes her fingers through his messy locks. Cocking her head, she rechecks her husband - nothing. He seemed to be following the movie, but she knew better to believe that trick!
