There is a lot I could say here but for now I will just focus on exactly what you asked. So on Y/N's birthday Tabi would get up a little bit more early than normal and bake or buy a cake a for Y/N. He would also get them a gift and it would probably be something expensive because he really wants to show how much he cares. And since you put what if they tried to leave on that day I will assume you mean what if this was a yandere story. Tabi would tell them no and get a little bit angry. He would try to grab them probably by the arm and tell them how lucky they are. He would then probably apologize and try to cheer them up.
