Y/N opened their eyes tiredly and felt something on top of them. It was Tabi. "Ready?" He asked. Y/N didn't know what he was talking about but then they remembered. They panicked and tried to crawl from practically under him. "Woah calm down." He said. "You gotta behave if we go to the adoption center." He grabbed their shoulders and slowly moved off of them. Y/N quickly sat up in Tabi's bed breathing a little heavy. They felt upset. "Are you ready?" He asked. "Let's get ready to go if we are." He said. "Tabi." Y/N said. They were scared he would get mad at them but told him how they felt. "I don't want any kids." They said. Tabi put his hand on their shoulder and looked them in the eyes. "Honey I'm sure it will be great." He said. "We'll get to watch them grow and send them to school." Y/N didn't want to believe any of that though. "B-But what if you h-h-hurt me..." Y/N stuttered and felt like they were going to cry. "Darling I won't." He said in a much kinder voice. "Our child or children won't even need to know all that." "We love each other." He reassured Y/N. He wasn't giving up. "I'm sorry I hurt you before." He hugged them. "I will not hurt our child." Y/N wasn't sure about that. "We can see who will be the favorite parent." He challenged them. "I bet it'll be you." "Tabi I don't want any children." Y/N told him again. "Well if you don't want any now then when?" He asked Y/N. Y/N didn't know how to make him understand. "I don't want any right now and I don't plan for any." Y/N said. "Well we can get a pet maybe." He said. "That's like a kid." He said. Y/N nodded. They knew he liked cats. "I'll give you a few months if you need them." He told them. "Maybe weeks." He just wouldn't drop it. Y/N started to weep. He was watching videos on his phone about kids and family things. Y/N cried harder. They didn't know how to tell him no. Tabi noticed. "Hey what's wrong?" He asked. "I don't want the struggle of taking care of kids with you!" Y/N yelled. "I don't want any kids and I don't like you!" Tabi hugged them tightly. "Ssshhhh." He said. "It's ok Y/N." "I really want at least one kid." "I know you might not but I'm sure you'll like it." Y/N tried to stop crying. "Tabi!" They said. "No!" They were having a mental breakdown. "Do you need anything?" He asked them. He got up and searched his nightstand drawl. He had a few things in it but what caught Y/N's eye was his sharp knife. "Gum?" He said holding it up so they could see. Y/N shook their head trying to calm down. He grabbed a water bottle from under the bed and gave it to Y/N. They didn't open it. "You good?" He asked. He pulled a trash can closer to the bed and gave Y/N some tissues which they used. They started to calm down. "It's ok." Tabi said rubbing their back with his hand under their shirt. "Calm down I love you." "We can get a pet." "A little kitten." "It should be a good trainer." He said. Y/N didn't quite know what he meant at first. "Maybe the kid can play with it when it gets here." Tabi said. Y/N cried even more.
