He would hope they like him back and would wait until no one is around so he doesn't get embarrassed and hope he doesn't get rejected. Then he would tell Y/N a little nervously but trying his best to act cool about it. If Y/N said yes he would be super happy but still try to act cool about it and then he would ask them if they want to go on a date and start trying to establish a relationship. He will try to slow down for Y/N though and keep calm. If they said no he would be really upset but try not to show it and it would just say ok and walk away quickly.
