So here's how I'm going to write this. Since you requested two kind of things here let's say Y/N had a nightmare and couldn't fall back asleep. Alright you can read now.
Y/N woke up from a terrible nightmare. They gasped and looked around the dark room. They quickly switched on the lamp. Y/N curled up into a ball. They tried to fall back asleep but couldn't. Y/N jumped out of bed and raced as quietly as possible to Tabi's room. They cracked the door open. "Tabi?" They whispered. "Tabi?" "I had a nightmare." "And I can't fall back asleep." "Huh?" Tabi said. He sat up and looked at them. Next he switched the light on. "What?" He asked. "I can't sleep." Y/N said. "You had a nightmare?" He asked. Y/N nodded. "Well nightmares aren't real." Tabi told them. "Come back when you have a better reason to stay up past your bedtime." "That's true." Y/N said. "Maybe I should just try to sleep again." Y/N said. "Ok well goodnight." Tabi said. They went back to there room and had forgotten what most of there nightmare was about. They quickly drifted off to sleep and when they woke up they didn't remember a lot about why they woke up or anything. "Did you sleep good?" Tabi asked them that morning. "Yeah." Y/N said.
