Chapter 6 - Mikael

3rd person POV:

"Mikael.", Klaus stated.

Bella peeked from over Klaus' shoulder.

"How are you here? Who freed you?", Nik asked him

"Well you can thank the eldest Salvatore brother for that. Tell me Niklaus, whom should I kill first? You or one of your beloved siblings?"

"Or would you like to die yourself Mikael?", Klaus asked.

"There will be no death or bloodshed here now brother.", a clear, dominating voice rang out.

"It can't be. It's been a thousand years. How is this possible? My little Isabella.", Mikael said.

"But I am really here, father. I was just hidden away till I reached the age of 18. Nikki and Ollie gave me the potion mother made for us and helped me settle into this lifestyle. I lost Henry too that day, father. Most people tend to forget the fact that we were twins. I will always feel his loss. I just cope with it better than any of you. Why are you so set on killing Nikki?", Bella said, a few tears leaking out. Even after all this time, it still hurt to talk about her now dead twin. She knew he was with them, constantly watching from the Other Side. She always felt his presence near her when she was really upset, very happy, or just wanted to talk to someone; like at the moment. She could feel him looking at her and trying to tell her not to cry over him. Mikael could not bear his youngest having tears in her eyes and quickly brought her into a hug which caused a few of the others to growl but they did not attack for fear of upsetting Bella more.

"I apologize my little svanr (swan in Old Norse), I did not forget that. But I was told you died that night too. That your body was irrecoverable. I was mourning over both of you whereas your mother was only mourning your brother. Then, I found out about her infidelity. I could not bear it Belle. Why didn't you tell me that she was alive?!", Mikael directed the last question towards the siblings.

"We had not found her until a year or two later, Father. We had not believed Klaus when he said Isa was alive and did not have the heart to give all of you false hope. It turned out that the wolves had taken her; had kept her for a year until their village was slaughtered.", Elijah answered quietly, his eyes filling with unshed tears at the memory.

Bella just hugged her father tighter. She had missed him. Very much so. Pulling away after a while, she questioned her father again on why he was trying to kill Niklaus.

"I always blamed him for taking you and Henrik to see the wolves that night. When he returned with Henrik's body and no sign of you... I couldn't bear it. Then I realized he was not even my son! He was a part of the creatures that took both your lives. I was lost in my anger."

"Did you know, he always looked up to you, father? He did not know that he was not your son until the night he killed someone for the first time. He was always bitter about why his own father always abused him and only him. Please solve this millennium old feud. We could be a proper family again. Well aside from mother and Finnick... But please do this for me?"

Mikael looked over at Klaus who was staring at the floor. He motioned to Kol to hold Bella and then walked over to Klaus.

"I... I did not know you felt that way Niklaus. I am truly sorry for what I have done to you. I always blamed you for Henrik and Isabella's death and never thought how you felt about the subject. I apologize for having treated you that way. Will you be able to forgive me?"

Klaus cleared his throat. "It will take some time. I do not know about it right now-"

He was cut off by Edward (*eye roll*)

"Isabella Marie Swan. Tell me this instant what is going on here?!"

'Bloody demanding cad. He is sure to lose his head now.' was a thought that went through all the Mikaelson siblings.
