"I can't believe how drunk I got last night."
"Sorry about that."
"Why are you apologising? It wasn't your fault."
Harry's hands fidgeted as he rested them on my legs. My suspicions were proving to be correct.
"I just don't want you to think that it was my plan."
I gazed at him sympathetically. I swung my legs around so that I was sitting up next to him. Harry's eyes darted to mine, waiting for me to say something. They twinkled, making me feel weak inside.
"I know that it wasn't. I know you wouldn't do that."
"Not with you." he whispered.
I giggled nervously as I removed my presence. I didn't realise just how close we'd ended up. I noticed that Harry's eyes still hadn't left me, even once I'd stood up and moved towards the door. My stomach had erupted with butterflies but I was careful not to get too lost. This still could turn out to be nothing.
After making a cup of tea for each of us, I entered the living room again and took the seat on the other end of the couch, placing my legs between us.
"When are you next available?" asked Harry.
"Friday, I think."
"I have to wait until Friday to see you again?"
"Well, Thursday night, that is unless you fancy giving me a lift home from work everyday."
"Any excuse to see your arse in those shorts you wear."
Harry added in a cheeky wink. I rolled my eyes shaking my head as he smirked. He startled me as he suddenly rose from the couch, moving himself closer to where I was. His strong scent was flooding my senses and messing with my insides. His lips were pressed to my cheek, then he trailed kisses closer and closer to my mouth. When he finally reached his target, the kiss became more desperate. I was pinned onto the sofa. I pressed my hands to his chest, only to find his heart was racing just as much as mine was.
I pulled away from the kiss but kept my hand in place. The thumping of his heart sent a pulse racing through my body. I looked up into his emerald eyes. He knew what I was feeling. The way his eyes flickered and the way the corners of his lips curved upwards, I knew this wasn't normal for him. When it came to girls, he'd switched off any intimate feelings for them. It was just about having fun.
"I have to go. See you tomorrow, angel."
One last kiss was placed upon my lips before he left, leaving me with my thoughts about the current situation.

NEXT DAY
Lily had been staring at me with a puzzled look on her face the entire day. Every time I looked over, she'd sharply turn her head to the floor so that I didn't notice. I could tell she was trying to work out something in her head. I just didn't know what. At the end of rehearsals, it was like nothing was wrong. She acted completely normal which only set me on edge. I knew this behaviour, Lily was about to ask me a question I didn't know the answer to. This is what always happened.
Lily walked outside with me and we waited on the corner. Brody was due to finish work around the same time so I told her I'd stay with her until her came out. I was leaning against the lamppost when both Brody and Harry made their appearances. My mouth suddenly went dry. A smile instantly sparked on Harry's face when he caught sight of me, an action that didn't go unnoticed by Lily. She began to smirk as he came over and picked up my dance bag.
"So are you two together then?"
I almost choked on thin air. To say I was unprepared for her question was an understatement. Harry seemed just as shocked as me. We both looked at each other seemingly hoping that one of us had the answer.
