To my surprise, Harry didn't react angrily. His touch fell away from my arm instead wiping the tears falling down my cheeks. I took hold of his hand and clutched it tightly. The worry in his eyes gripped at my heart. He took no time in climbing onto the tiny hospital bed next to me. My head fell into his chest as he began to stroke my hair, delicate kisses pressed to the top of my head.
"I'm scared, Harry." I whimpered.
"I'll keep you safe, angel. I promise."
"He said-"
"Shh, don't. Don't think about it."
I wanted Harry to know. The thought would be a burden on me if I didn't tell him, and how else would he be able to protect himself if he didn't know that Jamie was going to kill him.
"He said he was going to kill you." I spoke in a hurry.
Harry's gentle actions in my hair ceased momentarily. When he began again, I took hold of his wrist and lifted my head from his chest, searching his green gaze for a reaction.
"Did you hear me? He said he'd kill you and then me."
I began to choke on my own words.
"He won't get anywhere near either of us. Trust me on this."

I'd spent every day since that awful night counting down until my stitches could come out. The ugly reminder of the fear that Jamie had forced into my body sickened me and I couldn't wait to be rid of it.
Harry laughed at me as I repeatedly flinched away from the nurse as she took them out.
"You're such a girl." he taunted when she left the room.
"Shut up."
"Come on, I'm going to treat you today."
"What?"
"Brody's party is coming up. I wanna make sure you look good next to me." he teased.
"Oh ok pretty boy, I think it's you who will need to scrub up a bit more."
It was a complete lie. Harry was beautiful without even trying. I on the other hand had to try an awful lot.
"Are you forgetting something though?" I questioned. When he gave me no reply I pulled at his t-shirt. "Work?"
"It's one day, I'm sure the two of them can cope."
"You're going to end up getting me dropped."
I pulled on his t-shirt again. He complied this time, moving forwards to rest in between my thighs. He ran his hands up them slowly as his face neared mine.
"Only because you can't resist me." he whispered seductively.
I forcefully united our lips taking Harry by surprise slightly. I took his curls between my fingers, keeping him in place as he worked his lips against mine. A cold breeze blasted through the room, forcing us to jump away from each other, noticing it was the door that was the cause of it. Harry was grinning uncontrollably as the nurse entered the room, completely oblivious to what was taking place just seconds before.
"Ok, so you're all ready to go." she smiled.
"Thank you." I sang, jumping down off the bed and grasping Harry's hand.
"Now lets go find a dress that I won't be able to wait to get you out of." Harry gruffly spoke as we walked towards the car.
"You should be so lucky." I teased.
"Yes I will."

HARRY'S POV
During our shopping trip, we ran into my sister and my niece on her day off. Alesha only gave me a quick wave before practically diving onto Marlie, who swung her round before sitting her on her hip.
"You not in work day?" Emily asked suspiciously.
"Supposed to be."
"Oo this is serious. Skipping work to spend time with a girl? Never thought I'd see the day." she teased.
"Shut up, Emily. I'm glad you're here actually, I could use a bit of guidance."
"Oh, I see, dress shopping are we?"
"Yeah."
"Leave it to me."
I could only follow behind as the girls went in and out of shops. I didn't understand why it took so much deliberation. As far as I was concerned, if you liked it and it fit, you bought it. But with girls it was like a whole other world. Emily had hold of around six dresses that had been collected during our walk through the shop. Alesha looked as if she was in her dream world, her face lighting up at all the pretty items around her.
"Are you coming in while I try on these dresses?" Marlie questioned.
"Is that allowed?"
"Yeah just sit there and wait. No peeking at any other girls."
"I wouldn't dare."
Marlie disappeared behind one of the many red curtains. I took my spot on the the silver retro sofa as she changed. The first five dresses were modelled for me. She looked stunning in each one of them but I could tell she wasn't completely convinced by any of them. I heard a loud thump against the side of her changing room as she changed into the final dress, a profanity spoke in hushed tones.
"You alright in there, Marlie?"
"Fine, just adjusting myself. You ready?"
Her head appeared from behind the curtain, the rest of her body still shielded by it. Upon receiving my nod, the curtain dropped away. I shook my hands through my curls, combing them over to one side before I looked up. I heard my sister gasp and a wow of amazement from Alesha. I raised my eyeline to their subject of interest. My heart began to pound. Her tanned shoulders were shown off perfectly. The top half of the dress was white lace, a pale blue ribbon round her middle, enhancing her curves that I loved so much. The skirt fanned out to about knee length, my eyes then scanning down her legs. She looked perfect, and that was without the make up and hair done.
"You look like a princess, Marlie." Alesha commented.
"Thank you."
"I'm with her. You look amazing." I added.
A blush came to her cheeks. There was a twinkle in her eye as I neared her, the dark tinge to her cheeks only heightening.
"I can't wait to have you with me wearing that." I whispered into her ear. "And I won't be able to wait to get you out of it."
Her silver gaze found my green one. She kept hold of my gaze as my lips neared hers but I saw the playful glint appear in her eye. Our lips brushed, warm breath being caught between them.
"You never know, you might get lucky." she whispered back.
