Both girls approached the table where they left the Cullens and resumed their seats, Honey took a deep breath and gave them one of her best smiles. She didn't want them to worry about her, she didn't want them to blame themselves for something that wasn't their fault.

- Hey, I'm fine! Take off those long faces and you better give me a smile, ok? - she got them to at least stop their sad expressions a bit and they were more relaxed when they saw that Honey didn't look so bad anymore.

- I'm so sorry, Honey! I didn't mean to make you feel bad. - Jasper looked like a lost puppy. Honey, seeing that, reached her hand out to touch his and gently grasped it without flinching because of the cold.

- Oh sweetie, you don't have to apologize. You had no idea what happened, and I'm not mad at you. - she caressed his hand and he turned to see her with an expression that Honey couldn't decipher but she ignored that when she saw his smile. Jasper stroked Honey's hand back and gave her hand a light squeeze, he didn't want to let go. Her hand was so warm compared to his cold ones.

And to be honest, Honey didn't want to let go of his hand either, she liked the idea of being close to him and it felt like a mother-son moment. So she didn't and turned when Emmett called her.

- Honey, can I ask you a question that will define our closeness? - she chuckled and nod at him. - Do you like video games? - Honey laughed.

- Well, I didn't expect that question, but I'll be honest with you. Yes, I like video games. In fact, I used to play with the guys who worked with me at the bakery.

Emmett gave her a big smile and a glint could be seen in his eyes.

- Please, what is your favorite one? - Emmett was on the edge of the chair eagerly awaiting her answer.

- Huh, good question! I'd say Call of Duty, I've been playing it for a long time. - his smile couldn't be bigger.

- Yeah! That is also my favorite game! Can we play together one day, please? - he looked at her with puppy eyes. Honeys heart melt at that sight. She opened her mouth but Carlisle interrupted her...in a gentle way.

- Emmett, we just met her. You can't go around asking that question so freely to her. - Carlisle scolded him, it was clear that he didn't want Honey to think badly of them. He wanted to make a good impression and the guys can't go around asking her for that kind of things within a few hours of meeting. Emmett grimaced and lowered his head. Carlisle was right, how could he take that trust with Honey if she had barely met them and had no idea what they were or about mates? Honey frowned and her free hand rested on Carlisle's arm.

- Don't worry, Carlisle. It's perfectly fine! I'd gladly play with Emmett. - she gently said. Carlisle relaxed due to Honey's hand on him and nodded with a grin. Emmett raised his head so fast that Honey thought he was going to break his neck.

- Really? - he asked without believing it.

Honey chuckled and nod. - I'll love to.

Well, Emmett was beyond happy.

Her attention was quickly diverted to Alice who was eager to have her own conversation with her new mom. Alice was on the edge of her seat.

- Honey! Please tell me that you love shopping! - Alice's eyes sparkled with hope.

- Well you're in luck because I love shopping. - Honey said while leaning on the table. Alice squealed and grabbed her Honey's hand that was previously on Carlisle's arm.

- We can go shopping together! - everyone at the table chuckled at Alice's eagerness. She really didn't have an off button.

- I'd love to! Besides, I moved a few days ago and I need more clothes. - when she said that, Alice gasp in shock and then started planning on her head their trip to the stores.
