Well, it wasn't the situation the Cullens and Blacks expected to find themselves in. Obviously, Honey just thought that they knew each other. She wasn't aware of the rivalry between the two groups. (It should be noted that the story begins during the days after Edward and Bella started dating and Bella had already gone to the Cullens' house for Edward to formally introduce her.) So she brushed it off and offered a smile to Billy and Jake.

- Billy! Jake! I'm sorry I didn't have a comfortable conversation with you. How can I help you? - Billy smiled at her and shaked his head.

- Don't worry, we actually came to say goodbye. Jake has to do some homework. - Honey was a little disappointed that they were going too early but she understood.

- Its fine! I hope I can see you two again. Oh! Come on, take a few desserts home. - Honey went to a nearby table, she grabbed a few boxes with desserts in them and handed them to Billy.

- Thanks, Honey! - Jake was the one who talked and he was beyond happy, I mean...those were Honey's desserts.

- You don't have to thank me, you know that I'll always gift you with them! - Honey put her arm across Jake's back to which the Cullens let a low growl.

- By the way, we'd love it if you could join us for dinner tomorrow. Charlie will be there, I don't know if Bella will go...and so will Sam, Jared and Paul. - when he mentioned Bella, he looked at her and at the Cullens. Also, watching their reaction to when he mentioned the three other boys noting that Carlisle was the one who gave a more negative reaction to what he said. Billy connected the dots and he was surprised. A human mated to a vampire and also an imprint to three wolves.

- I'd love to! I'm totally up for it. Oh, Jake! Why dont you help me to bake somethings? You can come tomorrow to the bakery and we will do them together. - Jake's eyes lit up when he heard that.

- Yes! I will come after class. Can I bring two friends? I've told them about you and your bakery, but they couldn't come today. - a faint red tint can be seen on his cheeks.

- Of course you can, Jake! Feel free to bring whoever you want. - she smiles warmly at him.

With that said, Honey walked them to the door of the bakery and waved them off from there reminding Jake to show up at the bakery tomorrow. When she finished, she went back to the Cullens and Bella. The guys didn't want to be left out of spending time with her but they knew they had to wait. Carlisle, when he saw her in front of him, wanted nothing more than to wrap his arms around her and push her away from everyone so that it was just the two of them. But sadly, he couldn't do that. At least not before revealing their secret to Honey and he wanted to keep her away from that world as much as possible, he didn't want to have an unfortunate encounter with the Volturi and he definitely didn't plan on turning her into a vampire...not yet, only if she asked him or if there was no other option.

Honey smiled at them and took her seat. She realized that the Cullens hadn't touched her desserts yet and feeling like a bad hostess, she wanted to do something about it.

- Oh God! I haven't offered you any of the desserts! I'm so sorry, please grab something if you like! - both the Cullens and Bella tensed at what he said. How could they refuse her desserts (even if they wanted to try them) without making her feel bad and without revealing the secret?! That time they didn't hide the tension too much and Honey took note of it, which instantly made her feel bad and a feeling of tightness settled in her chest.

What's wrong with them?

- Are you okay? Is there something wrong with my desserts? I mean, you shouldn't eat them if you don't want to. I'm sorry if they are not to your liking. I didn't think you would have disliked the idea. Sorry. - she had a frown on her face and a wave of disappointment and sadness consumed her. They all winced at the change in Honey's mood. It wasn't their intention to make her feel bad. Jasper let out a little whimper when he felt her emotions and Edward frowned when he read her thougths. What could they do to reassure her that there wasn't something wrong with her desserts? Rosalie was the one who spoke.
