It wasn't long before Jake and Honey got to his home. Through the window they saw that the boys had already arrived and were with Billy in the living room. The happy atmosphere became a bit dense, Honey noticed that Jake was looking out the window of her car at the boys with a hard gaze. It wasn't hard for her to realize that Jake didn't appreciate their company and Honey wondered why. It was the same attitude that Jake had when he told her about those boys he disliked. Honey started to connect the dots in her head and the idea came to her mind that the three of them might be the guys Jake was talking about or had something to do with them. She put her hand on his shoulder and he was scared because he was so deep in thought, he turned to see her and met a look that he couldn't decipher. Was it pity? Sadness?

- Jake? Are they the boys you told me about? - her tone was gentle, she didn't want him to be upset. Jake pursed his lips and nodded.

- Yeah, they are. I don't like seeing them every so often in my house, I stopped liking them since they decided to behave like idiots. Also, I hate how they see Embry. They do it as if they expect something from him and it is quite frustrating. - He said all that without knowing that inside the house he was being listened to and the three boys frowned when they heard how badly Jacob spoke of them in front of their imprint. They didn't like that, at all.

Honey sighed, she wasn't expecting that. She didn't see anything wrong with the boys and even though Jake was telling her what was going on between them, she wasn't going to be able to understand it until she went through something like that. They had been so sweet to her and she didn't see a trace of that bad temper they seem to have, but hey, she only knew them for a few days. Everything could happen.

- Well, from what you tell me I know that it will be difficult for you to be in the same room as them but look at the good side, you will be with me and we will eat my desserts. - she winked at him and Jake laughed while nodding.

- Yeah, you're right! Come on, those delicious desserts will not be eaten alone. - the two of them got out of the car and walked to the door. They got to the front of the door and just as Jake was about to open it, the door is opened by someone inside the house. Billy was behind the door, he knew that they had both arrived and that the three boys who were still inside had heard something that they had not liked at all and he guessed it would have been Jake, so he decided to go open them before something bad happened.

- Honey! It's good to see you, come in. - Billy moved aside and the woman gave him a grateful smile.

- Hey Billy! Nice to see you again, I hope we didn't interrupt something. - she said seeing the seriousness in everyone's expression. All men present relaxed upon hearing her melodic voice and couldn't help but smile at her. Just by seeing Honey, everyone was happy. It was in her nature to cause that effect.

- Don't worry, you didn't interrupt anything. In fact, we were waiting for you. The boys brought the food. - Jake and Honey turned to look at the table and smiled when they saw the food already served on the plates for each one to serve themselves. Jake grabbed the boxes with Honey's desserts and went to leave them in the kitchen wanting to escape the situation, he didn't want to be with those guys but he knew he couldn't leave Honey, but that didn't mean he was going to miss the opportunity to escape, even if it was only a few seconds.

As Jake brought things to the table, Honey walked over to Billy to give him a proper hug and then she went to the boys. The first was Jared who hugged her with happiness and joy, with a little strength and making small jumps to which she only laughed and reciprocated in the same way. Then, it was Paul. He hugged her more calmly than Jared but with twice as much force as the previous boy used, of course taking care not to hurt the woman. Honey hugged him tightly but she didn't match his strength, he was a werewolve after all. Of course, she didn't know that. Finally, it was Sam's turn. He kept his composure and hugged her gently as he sent a glare to the other two boys for attacking her in such a not-so-calm manner.

- Good to see you guys! Although we met yesterday, still, it was a long time. - she pouted and the guys couldn't help but melt at that sight. She was adorable. Thinking like this, the boys wondered if it was true that their feelings for her were only platonic. They were sure there weren't romantic feelings but no one could find an answer to that so they still couldn't clarify if it was true that there were no romantic feelings involved. The elders were investigating as much as they could but they couldn't find an answer.

- It's good to see you too Honey, and trust me, we missed you too. - Sam said and the other two nodded.

- Well, we'd better hurry, otherwise the food will get cold. - Billy interupted and they all agreed. They went to the table where Jacob was waiting for them and they all sat around with Billy in the center, Jake on his left side and he was followed by Honey, Sam on Billy's right side with Paul and Jared at his side, respectively. As soon as everyone was settled, they began to serve themselves food and enjoyed a dinner full of stories and laughter from everyone, even Jake took his bad mood towards them and joined the fun.

It was time for dessert and Honey got up to take the boxes with the cookies, went into the kitchen and grabbed the things but before she returned a headache attacked her unawares and that was followed by dizziness. She dropped the boxes on the table and held the counter with both hands as she closed her eyes in pain. It was unbearable and she was trying to stay calm, she didn't want to alert the boys and Billy. The pain lessened a bit and she opened her eyes to find that she no longer felt dizzy enough not to continue the night. She took a deep breath and let the air out, grabbed the boxes again but the pain was present again and with more force than the previous one, making her see black dots. She screamed and threw the boxes on the table, held her head with both hands and leaned her back on the edge of the counter listening to the dining room chairs move and the hurried footsteps of the boys. Honey couldn't think straight, she was barely aware of what was going on around her. The pain was so strong that she let out a few tears. What was happening?

The boys and Billy, who were waiting for Honey, heard her scream and without hesitation went after her. Jake was the first to reach the kitchen and saw Honey leaning on the counter clutching her head and tears running down her cheeks. He hurried over and took her by her shoulders. Her name came from his lips over and over again trying to get the woman's attention but nothing happened. The three shifters came to his side and felt their inner wolves cry at the sight of his imprint in pain.

Billy moved his wheelchair to be next to the boys and made a gesture to Jake to let him get closer to Honey who suffered more and more from the pain, she began to let out little whimpers that became louder with the passage of the minutes. The man gently took Honey's elbows and tried to spread her arms so that she would stop clutching her head, but to no avail as she wouldn't budge.

The pain became stronger and without realizing it, a golden mist began to come out of Honey's hands that shocked those present, except the woman. What was happening? Why did that thing come out of Honey's hands? Did she know what was going on? What was it? Was that thing hurting her? Everyone was frustrated, they had no answer to what was happening and Honey's screams were getting louder and louder and they felt great helplessness for not being able to relieve her pain.

There came a point where the screaming stopped and Honey dropped her arms, those present looking at her expectantly. They couldn't see her face, her hair hid it. Out of nowhere, Honey slowly raised her head and they realized that her eyes were closed, her cheeks were full of traces that she had been crying previously, and to be honest, it was a sight that broke everyone's heart.

Honey felt nothing and kept her eyes closed to calm herself. Seeing that nothing was happening, she opened her eyes and the boys met an extremely bright pair of amber eyes. The others were shocked and a little scared, they had never seen her eyes like that. A few seconds passed and the pain returned but at a level that Honey couldn't compare with the previous ones. She let out a heartrending cry and turned to see those present.

- Help.

And with that, her vision clouded and darkness consumed her.
