Well, it goes without saying that Carlisle didn't like that. His normally calm and collected self went down the drain. I mean, you will understand that your true mate comes out of nowhere and it turns out that three of your enemies are imprinted on her. And the Cullen siblings are not far from that. How dare they get imprinted on their soul mother? Alice was puzzled, in her vision she showed how Honey got along with them but she didn't imagine that Honey was their imprint and seeing as that is something they can't control, she hoped that those three were the only ones. Jasper was seeing through their feelings and it didn't make sense to him, there wasn't any romantic feeling towards her, even though she was their imprint. Edward heard his siblings thoughts and couldn't help but frown in confusion. What was happening? Bella turned to look at Edward with a questioning gaze, she didn't understand what was going on. Edward just smiled at her and gave her a reassurant kiss on the forehead. 

Once the wolves were gone, Honey approached them and Carlisle was the first one to step forward. He placed his hand on her arm and tried to keep his voice gentle. 

- Do you know them? - his tone was kind but his eyes were something else.

- Yeah, I do! I met them yesterday's night at the Black's house, they are so kind. - her emotion while talking about them made the vampires a little bit uneasy but they brushed it off when the saw her smile. They couldn't say something to her, she was just so happy and they didn't want to erase that. Although, it was clear that they were going to investigate about that and talk to the wolves. 

- At the Black's house? - Emmett asked.

- Yes, Bella and Jacob helped me with the bakery and I gave Jacob a ride to his home. They were there when we came in.

The Cullens decided to drop the topic and Honey invited them to sit at a nearby table. When they were all in their seats, Honey turned to look at Bella, who was at her left side, and nudge her arm. 

- So, you both are dating? - this time her gaze went to Edward and then, back to Bella. 

- Yes, we started dating recently. - Edward was the one who answered and took Bella's hand in his. Honey squealed and she move her chair to move closer to them. 

- Ever since Bella told me she's dating someone, I've been looking forward to meeting you! - Honey put her arms on the table and her face in between her hands looking at them with shining eyes. Everyone was in awe with how cute she was.

- Yes? Bella has also talked a lot about you and your bakery. - Edward said.

- All good things I hope. - Honey chuckled and everyone at the table did the same.

- Don't worry, they have all been magnificent things. - Hearing his voice, Honey turns to meet Carlisle's gaze on her. Their faces were very close to each other and Honey noticed, moving a bit away making Carlisle sad but he ignored that feeling. They just met that same day! Alice saw the tension that was forming so she tried to fix it. 

- So, Honey, tell us! Where you come from?  - both Carlisle and Honey thanked her internally. 

- Um, I come from L.A. - she said shifting uncomfortably in her seat but nobody notice that or they prefered to stay in silence. Alice and Rosalie perked up at that but it was Jasper who opened his mouth. He was curious as to why would someone would live L.A. for Forks.

- Wow! L.A. is a great place! But, why did you move from there? - Honey was dreading that question. She didn't want to explain it in fear of breaking down. Her hands began to sweat and without noticing it she began to shake, her throat closed a little and her eyes crystallized but everyone was so attentive to what she had to say that they ignored the change in her mood.

Please, don't!

Her mind screamed and Edward instantly realized in what state she was, his eyes widened and he tried to say something but Honey's voice cut him off.

- My sister died. 

Her voice cracked and the silence reigned. 

Everyone was in shock, that's when they notice her change. Honey's eyes weren't meeting theirs and instead were on her hands, which were shaking. Her sister's death was still present, it just happened recently. Honey couldn't bear the silence so she raised her head and looked at each one with a tearful smile.

- It happened some weeks ago and it looks that I can't get over it. - she shrugged and still no one say a thing. - I'll go to the restroom, I'll see you guys in a moment. - she didn't wait for their response and abruptly stood up and practically run. 

- I didn't...I'm sorry... - Jasper stutter with a grimace in his face and was looking to where Honey went with worry. 

- It's fine, son. None of us knew. - Carlisle tried to reassure him even though he too was worried about her. 

- No, it isn't. I made her sad. - Jasper looked down. 

- Hey, you didn't say anything wrong. Like Carlisle said, none of us knew. - Alice kissed his cheek. 

- I will go and check for her. - Bella said standing up and went after Honey. 

- I think we were too caught up to what she was telling us that we didn't notice her shaking and her eyes. I tried to say something when I read her mind but she beat me to it. - Edward explained remembering Honey's pleading. 

The Cullens instantly felt bad, they were vampires for God's sake! How come they couldn't notice something like that, with their super sight, Edward couldn't read her mind before, Alice didn't have a vision about it, Jasper didn't pay attention to the feelings that Honey conveyed, Carlisle didn't feel her sadness through the bond.

Bella walked into the bathroom and saw Honey wetting her face and sobbing a bit. Her chest tightened when she saw her like that, she didn't know why she felt that way with Honey but what she did know was that she saw her as an older sister figure. So Bella didn't hesitated and walked to Honey engulfing her in a hug. Honey instantly recognised Bella's strawberry scent and accepted the hug. 

- Are you okay? - Bella muttered on her shoulder.

- Yeah, Im fine. It's just that my sister's death is very recent and I still can't get over it. - Honey whispered.

- I'm sorry, Honey. I wish I could do something.

- Just being here is enough, thank you Bella.

- You know, the Cullens think they hurt you and are very sorry. Especially Jasper, he's lamenting himself out there.

Honey widened her eyes and pulled apart from Bella.

- Oh god, I didn't want that to happen. It wasn't their fault! - she didn't feel good at all with the idea of ​​them being sorry for something they didn't do. Also, they only met her that day! They would not have to make a big deal out of it.

- Do you want us to go with them? - Bella asked.

- Yes, of course. Just let me fix a little bit my makeup, I think it smudged a little. - both girls laugh at that.

When Honey was ready, both of them stood in front of the door. Honey looked at Bella and noded. Bella opened the door and they both got out.
