If you've managed to miss it, there's a parallel story to this one! "Kade", an entire book from Kades POV about his relationship with Kash!

I'd gotten the address thirty minutes ago, and it'd taken us about that same time to get to the house we were now faced with. Various people were already spread across the lawn, drunk out of their mind or properly on their way there. Loud music could be heard from the outside, and colored lights painted the night sky through the windows.

As we made our way into the house, Dan and James walking in before me as Kade followed just after, the deafening beat of the music and the smell of countless horny teenagers rubbing against each other on the dance floor engulfed me.

I assume we've entered the living room, where a large open area in the middle served as a dance floor and the couches, which had been pushed up against the walls, for people to make out on. To the right was a smaller lounge, complete with a billiards table that I already grieved the demise of; there's no chance in hell that would survive this party.

"Let's get some drinks!", Dan shouts and makes his way towards the kitchen with us in tow. The kitchen is just as large as the living room, with a grande, marble island surrounded by painted counters and cabinets.

I've barely made it inside the room before a large body collides with mine.

"Hey!", Thomas laughs, hugging me to his sweaty chest. He has his arm around my shoulders, bringing my head close to his. He's just a bit taller than I am, I note. I bring my head up, tilting it to meet his eyes.

"Hey!", I match his energy but untangles his arm, taking a small step back. Kade's troubled look is still fresh in my mind, and I don't know how to go about this. Thomas is nice, but Kade is... more. Special. I don't know how, but I don't want to blow my chances on some random hookup.

"You made it! Have you had anything to drink yet?", Thomas asks, either not picking up on my subtle distancing or promptly ignoring it.

"No! Just before the game, but I'm not even buzzed anymore!", I shout back, hoping he'll hear me over the music. Thomas ushers us towards the counter that has been stacked with hard liquor and a bunch of neon-colored liquids to mix them with.

"There's beer in the fridge as well, but that's for retaining the buzz!", he explains, leaning closer to me.

"What's your order, Kash?", his hot breath ghosts over my ear, making me shiver and Kash Jr. stir in my pants. I angle my head slightly, looking at him from the corner of my eye. Surely, a little flirting couldn't hurt...

I angle my head backward to whisper in his ear, pushing my body up against his as I do so. "Usually, I'd go for a Sex on the Beach, but I'll settle for a Tequila Lemonade."

A deep, appreciative noise rumbles from his chest. "Coming right up.", he tells me, caging me in with his arms as he pours me my drink. Once he's done, I grab the drink and spin around, coming face to face.

He's the picture of my ideal hookup; tall, muscular and handsome. The alcohol has made his walls drop, earning me a face with open expressions and wide pupils as he glances at my lips. His face is once again shining with a sheen of sweat, despite the previous after-match shower.

"What about you? What's your ideal drink?", I ask seductively, tasting his concoction. My first taste was smooth and deep, but with a citric and fresh aftertaste that worked well with the lemonade. This kind of sugary drink would be my downfall, I'd drink ten of these for the taste despite the cheap product.

"I prefer a blowjob.", he answers, with a straight face, making me choke on my drink before he cracks a smile. "The drink, silly!", he laughs. He whispers something about not minding an actual blowjob, but I'm distracted at the scene behind him.
