~Y/N POV~

I decided to take the day off work today.

Not what I had in mind for the day really but when I woke up this morning after my alarm set off it didn't feel right to leave Jungkook here all day. Alone and injured. That is assuming he's not going to work or something.

But I don't care.

If he decides to go to work then so be it. I'll just make use of the day and lounge around in my pjs. My favourite task to do anyway. All I'm missing is a massive tub of ice cream.

Uh.

Just standing in the kitchen with my thoughts on ice cream makes my mouth water from the pure thought. It's been so long since I've done that. Maybe I should get a tub later tonight and binge?

I nod to myself, flipping a pancake over in the frying pan as I make a mental note of my date night with myself. Sounds pathetic really. On another note it's been a long time since I've even been on a date.

Groaning to myself I shook my thoughts of that. I wont go down that route.

Finally the last of the pancakes were fried and ready to be devoured.

Picking up the plate and licking my lips to the glorious food I made I took the plate to the already set up table just behind the kitchen counter that separates the kitchen from the living room. Carefully I set the plate on the table but a source of movement from the couch caught my attention.

A little squeal left me and my hands shot to my chest over my heart after spotting a pair of soft doe eyes staring back at me.

"Jeez Jungkook you scared the shit out of me."

I sighed after and dropped my hands back to my sides. The man sitting on the couch, arms spread out on the back of his seat and one leg crossed over his lap just smiled at me sweetly.

"Sorry. You seemed in your element over there. I didn't want to disturb you." Jungkook

His face was soft and his smile almost made me melt. But when he did a head gesture back to the cooker for some reason I also looked back to that space in the kitchen. Only to frown after and put my hands to my hips when I gazed back over to him.

"You were watching me, weren't you?"

My question was more like a statement. And Jungkook's growing smile just confirmed it.

"I was." Jungkook

"Why? That's creepy."

He shrugged at me and cocked his head to the side.

"Why not?" Jungkook

My eyes squinted at my roommate.

"You're really annoying you know that?"

And he nods. Followed by a giggle.

"Yes. My life purpose is to annoy you and it seems I'm full filling my duties." Jungkook

I snort back a laugh. I didn't want to truly laugh at him. There's no way I'm going to admit that I find him funny when he acts like this. It's only been this past week he's been actually engaging with me like this. Its like his mission is to make my laugh somehow but I wont give in.

No matter how annoyingly attractive he is.

"By the way, how is your side this morning?"

Dropping the topic before hand and pointing to his side. Jungkook blinked and his smile dropped when he gazes down at his own wounded side and then shrugs when he lifts his head to look back at me.
