                  After 6 Years

Shehzeen's P.O.V:

I was sitting in the backyard looking at our beautiful garden which was looking really beautiful with colourful flowers.
It's been almost 7 years since our wedding. After that night we started spending more time with each other, we went on dates, we went on campings, amusement parks and hiking too.

The best think was when I said Rayyan about my pregnancy. He was so happy.

Flash back:

After 2 weeks of our dinner date i was unwell for few days. I thought it was because a day before I had a little more food than I always eat, and it was also sea food. I started getting tired and exhausted soon, I had nausea at morning and I had big appetite which isn't really my thing. I was feeling dizziness too.

I thought it might be food poisoning, Rayyan said me he would take me to doctor but I convinced him it would be fine after taking medicine. But even after taking medcines it was same. Then Maria di asked me when I had my last periods.

I thought for a while and said her it was last month and this month I didn't had. Still I wasnt sure about pregnancy then Maria di pointed out the symptoms of it. She said me to do pregnancy test, after a lot of thinking I finally agreed. I asked her if she could buy the kit for me as I don't think I would be able to buy it.

She agreed and said she would bring it tomorrow while comming here. As it was almost 8:15 pm i went to offer isha prayer. After prayer I prayed to Allah whatever happens hope it will be for the best. Just the thought of being a mother makes me overwhelmed.

But it also reminds me of how will I be able to handle a baby. Its not like I had never handled a baby, but it's different when it's your own. After making dua I folded the prayer mat and kept it back in its place. I looked at the time it was 8:35 pm. Which means Rayyan will be here any minute.

After he came we had dinner and went back to our room after locking the doors. Maria di said she will get 3 pregnancy kits for better result. It's better to check more than once.

Next day the after Rayyan went to office I had sandwich and Apple juice and patiently waited for Maria di. After sometimes Maria di came and explained me what I should do. Then we both went to our room. I was feeling very nervous.

"Don't worry dear, Whatever will happen it will be for the best," Maria di said seeing my nervousness. I gave her a smile and went to our washroom. I read the instruction and did as it said. After i was done i kept it on the cabinet and came out and set the time.

I was anxiously waiting for the timer to go off . Maria di tried to calm me down but it wasnt helping either. After the timer goes off it will say if I am really pegnant or not. We never talked about having children like a real talk. He always teased me about it.

I don't know what fate is holding for us. I am sure what will happen it will be for our good. But one thing is sure i would love to be a mother and will try my best to be the perfect mother for my children. In Sha Allah.
