-Luke's POV-

Lea is asleep on my shoulder as I stare at the night sky out of the airplane window. After everything that happened in LA I don't judge her for wanting to go back to my home country. Sure Australia isn't compared to LA but by the story of it, Sydney feels like a better place for her.

After Ross went to military, Dan decided to go and finish his studies at NYU. Janet thought it would he better if she stayed back home for a while and Ashton wanted to stay with her. Even Chloe is going back to Sydney to be with Calum.

I glance at an unconscious Michael right next to me and Emily reading a book. Calum was a seat behind us since he insisted it would be better for the couples to be together.

I just can't get Lea's words out of my mind.

"You're gonna hate me."

She talked like it was the inevitable. Like I would hate her no matter what. I denied it, I could never hate her, no matter what, but the way she acted was unexplainable. Why would she think that? What did she do?

"What are you thinking about?" Lea's best friend asks me.

"Nothing." I shake my head.

"Lucas." she says my name like it will make me tell her everything.

"My name is not Lucas, knock it off." I say playfully but with a hint of annoyance in my voice.

"Okay, Robert." she laughs quietly.

I sigh in defeat and when she asks what I'm thinking about again, I decide to tell her.

"It's just typical Lea." she says. "She says things like that all the time. I think it's the depression talking or something. She just can't see herself like others see her."

I've noticed really. Every time I tell her that she's beautiful she blushes and acts like I never said anything.

"And how does she see herself?" I ask.

"Like a walking disaster. She has this..." Emily pauses for a second, trying to find the right word. "Let's call it a habit, to handle situations wrongly and that leads to her ruining things."

"Cool theory." I say, brushing a few stands away from Lea's forehead.

"Her psychologist said so." she shrugs.

She has a psychologist?

"She has a psychologist?" I exclaim with furrows eyebrows and she bites her lip nervously.

"She did, and by the looks of it, you didn't know and she is going to kill me if she finds out I talked so you keep your mouth shut or else..." she pauses to create an effect but I don't buy it.

"Or else you'll need to find a new guitar and by guitar I mean-"

"I got it." I interrupt.

I'm not afraid of her, she's just crazy and unpredictable and I prefer keeping my guitar as it is. Okay, maybe -just maybe- I'm a little scared but she's terrifying.

"So, Lucas, I'm gonna take a nap and I advise you to do the same." she smiles.

"Alby is cockier in the book, isn't he?" I look down at the cover of the book she's reading.

"That's exactly what Lea said." she smiles and closes her eyes.

I find it harder to sleep as the loud snoring of the fat old man behind me are annoying as fuck, but the tiredness and the jet lag end up taking the better of me as my eyelids drop and I've finally dozed off.
