CHAPTER 17

Okay, so, I wanted to say that this story is kinda boring now, but it's gonna get better soon (I hope). Anyway, I can't thank you enough for reading this, you are amazing guys. Every single one of you is amazing and perfect. And if anyone dares to tell you that you're not, I'll just go there and kick his ass. I just wanted to say it. And now, I have the honour to present you chapter 17.  :-D

-Lea's POV-

"I can't believe the bitch." Janet says.

I called last night and told her I have good and bad news.

The good news is that I got along with dad. Yeah, he's dad now, not just John. And mum is now just Laura.

"How could she hide from us the fact that our dad wanted to visit us?" she continues yelling.

Ray is in a loss of words. He hated dad almost as much as I did and he was accusing him all these years for everything that happened in our family.

"A-and the letters? Where are they?" Ross asks.

"If she really doesn't want us to find them, she must have been taking them with her all these years." I assume.

"The mysterious bag she always kept in her closet? She always took it with her everywhere." Dan says.

"So, this must be it. The letters must be in the bag." Janet says with determination.

"So, if we take the bag, we have the letters." Ross raises his eyebrows smirking.

"Yes, but how are we gonna get the bag you dumbass?" Ray asks. "We don't even know if she took it with her and I'm not flying back to L.A. just to get a pile of letters."

"She took it with her. I saw her putting it in the car before we leave to come for Lea." Dan reassures everyone.

"Yeah, but still... How are we going to take the bag from her?" Ray asks.

"This is why I'm here." I smile devilishly. "So, here's the plan." I say as I pull them all together to whisper my plan.

"All we need is a little back up and I know exactly the person for that." I say.

“Joy?”

“Hey, Laura.” Joy says . “Can I come in? We need to talk. A-about Lea.”

“Um, yeah sure.” She hesitates. “Come in.”

We are like real spies. We have Joy in Laura’s nest fully plugged with microphones.

“I can’t believe you put my mother into this.” Calum groans from the driver’s seat.

“I can’t believe you insisting on coming with us.” I groan.

It’s really nice hanging out with Calum but being on a “mission” with him? Yeah, not so much fun.

“Just a glass of water, please.”

“That’s the key word. We’re off.” Janet says and gets out of the car with Ross.

“Ray and I are gonna hack the cameras of her room and then come to find you and help you gain access to the room without her seeing you. And Dan and Cal will keep an eye on the cameras.” I say and they all nod.
