Day Ten: Moon

Silver stars dance across the pitch black sky, the moon peeks out from behind a dark cloud. Skylor looks out into the stars, laying on the cold glass. Her amber eyes slip closed.
Feet pad gently into the grass and a figure sinks into the grass. He lays down next to her and steals a glance at her.
"Skye?"
The mentioned girl jumps and her eyes snap open. She turns her head and smiles when she spots Kai laying next to her. She shuffles closer to him and rests her head against his arm. Kai smiles and plants a kiss on her forehead.
The moon comes out from behind the clouds, a silver light radiating onto their faces.
"The moon is pretty," Skylor murmurs, moving her head onto Kai's chest.
"Yeah."
Kai's eyes land on her, threading his fingers through her red hair. Skylor smiles up at him and yawns quietly, snuggling close to him and closing her eyes. Kai smiles and hugs under his breath, watching the girl he fell in love with fall asleep against him.
Kai rests his head on hers and watches the moon until his eyes close and falls into a peaceful sleep.
