Day Twelve: Alternative Universe
Acting AU"And cut!" The director calls, sighing and running a hand down his face.
Jay and Kai stop mid argument, turning to the director simultaneously, their eyes reflecting confusion.
"Kai, that-that-"
"That was in the script!" Kai interrupts before the director can finish.
"The curse wasn't in the script," the director fires back, keeping his voice calm.
"Why is it so hard for you to stick to the script?!"
Nya pokes her head around from the side of the cliff, her hair straightened and pinned to the sides of her face. Her top is ripped at the shoulder and by her wrist on the opposite side. Kai sticks his middle finger up at her, making her glare and return the action before disappearing behind the rock.
"Come on Kai."
Cole and Zane walk into the room, a coffee in their hands.
"The sooner you finish this scene, the sooner we can go home. Most of us have been here since eight am," Cole finishes Zane's sentence.
"Lloyd has already fallen asleep."
Zane gestures to the man in the green hoodie. He's curled up on the sofa on the far side of the room, loud snores echo in their ears.
Kai murmurs something under his breath and glares at Cole. His boyfriend just smiles innocently at him and sinks into his chair. Kai murmurs something under his breath before going back to his spot on the set.
The director and the camerawoman exchange glances before the director grabs the clapboard.
"Action!" The director closes the clapboard.
"I can't believe you would do that!" Jay yells, taking a step closer.
"I never did that! It was clearly someone impersonating me!"
"Okay, now I know you're-"
"Will you two quit it!" Nya comes around the rock, glaring at the pair of them.
"Your brother is-"
"I know! It doesn't matter right now! We gotta get out of here. He's on his way up here and if he comes here because of you idiots, we'll all get caught," Nya says, beginning to walk to the opposite side of the set.
Kai and Jay glare at each other before following her off the set.
"Cut! Well done everyone. I'll see you all at ten am tomorrow morning. Have a good night."
With that, the director climbs off his chair and walks out of the room.
Sorry for the lack of...everything. I'm tired.
On a lighter note, two more days in isolation!
