Day Sixteen: Something Romantic

Cole wraps his arms around Kai's waist, pulling the smaller close to him. Kai squeaks in surprise and leans into him, snuggling close to his chest. Kai turns in Cole's arms, wrapping his arms around the taller's neck. Slowly leaning in, he plants his lips onto Cole's. Cole tightens his grip on Kai's waist, kissing back and pulling Kai even closer.
Kai stands on his tiptoes and deepens the kiss, resting all his weight on Cole. Cole hums and slowly pulls away, resting his forehead on Kai's.
"I love you," Cole breathes.
Kai shivers as Cole's warm breath tickles his nose. Kai giggles and plays with the edges of Cole's hair with his fingers.
"I love you too."
Cole scoops Kai up in his arms, giggling when the younger squeals in surprise. Kai wraps his arms around Cole's neck and kisses him as Cole walks to their bedroom. Cole holds Kai with one arm and closes the door behind them, locking it.
Kai shuffles in Cole's arms and wraps his legs around Cole's waist, his arms around his neck. Cole kisses him again. Kai kisses back and leans even closer to him.
Cole pulls away, resting his head on Kai's.
"I love you so much Koala."
"I love you too Rocky."

Later that night, Cole pulls Kai on top of him, wrapping his arms around the shorter. Kai snuggles into his chest, wrapping his arms and legs around Cole. Cole smiles and threads his fingers through Kai's hair, murmuring little compliments to him. A heavy blush comes across Kai's cheeks at the adoring words.
"I love you," Kai murmurs, a soft yawn escaping his lips.
"I love you too."
Kai's eyes flutter closed. Soft snores sound from him, making Cole smile before his own eyes close and sleep overtakes him.
