"So much for not going." Stephen smirked, carefully taking a thin gold chain from my collar down my bare abdomen to hook around my waist and then loosely tied the end to the gold cuffs around my wrists. I glared at the man's back in the mirror and tried my hardest to stay still as he worked.

Once he was finished, Stephen stepped back and admired his work, I narrowed my eyes at my reflection.

"I look ridiculous."

"You look hot."

"I look like an Egyptian whore."

There was a laugh by the door and we both spun around in freight to see Declan leaning on the door, two guards at his back and a smile playing on his lips as his eyes dragged up and down my body. Myself and Stevie waited in suspense as he pushed off the doorway and began to speak. It was always captivating when he spoke.

"You know Whores in Ancient Egypt were gifted high status to celebrate their work. In fact within their Culture prostitution was considered a divine and respectable act that was done to please the gods."

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?" I sassed and Declan smirked, standing toe to toe with me, completely unafraid of my larger size. His hand boldly teased the material of the white cloth precariously secured around my waist.

"I was hoping you'd realise that's how I feel about having you by my side tonight."

"That i am a whore?"

Dec rolled his eyes, "That to walk beside me tonight means you are special to me. That I think you should be celebrated."

"For my body."

"Yes." Dec replied bluntly, his eyes flickering down to my tanned skin before blinking up at me with a sly smirk, "And everything else."

"Charming." I grumbled, folding my arms but getting them tangled in my chains. My anger flared and I growled in frustration, snapping my teeth at Stevie who recoiled.

"Hey woah stop what did I do?!"

"You put them on too tight!"

"I didn't! they are supposed to hold you!"

Dec held up his hand and the squabbling stopped, silently he reached around my neck and created more slack before feeding it through towards my arms.

"There, that was easy wasnt it?"

I lifted my arms to my face and nodded, it was much better.

"Are you calm?" He asked, studying my face and I nodded.

"Aye. Alreet I'm calm like."

The smaller man seemed overly happy by that statement, his eyes lit up and his smile widened to his cheeks. It made me feel kind of uncomfortable. "What?" I asked shifting nervously.

"Your geordie accent. You're the only Person I've met who's still got it."

"I lived in a community underground full of Geordies."

Dec's eyes seemed a bit sad, "I was taken too young to keep mine."

"I don't think so. It's still there."
