My Ant and Dec One shots

💜 Gold

Just wrote this 🥳 because the boys were perfect tonight💜  I think the most of the show should consist of them and the judges though

^^love how their arms have to be touching when they were sat back stage here.

"Lots of Gold in this show Anth." Dec said absently, pulling off his last sock and chucking it down on the floor. 

"What was that Decky?" Inquired Ant who walked to edge of the dressing room sofa and picked up the pile of random socks collecting there.

"Gold. Lots of it." Dec said sticking his tongue out in thought.

"Yes. There is. Is there something else you would like to add to that statement pet? Or was it just an observation?"

"Well..." Ant rose an eyebrow as Declan did that thing were he wanted Ant to work for it. "Nah it doesn't matter... forget it."

"Okay then." Ant said, shrugging nonchalantly whilst stripping out of his sweater and pulling on his crisp white shirt for the evenings show.

"Well I guess I was just thinking... I like gold... if we had a wedding... could it have gold in it?" Ant turned to Dec and looked at him sadly. The smaller Geordie was sat cross legged on the sofa, looking adorable and childlike.

"Awww Decky" Ant cooed, sitting next to his best friend and tilting his smaller frame so it fell comfortably into his arms. "Of course we can have what ever you want at our wedding."

"Wish we could get married now." Dec whimpered into his boyfriend's neck.

"Me too pet... me too." Ant placed a chaste kiss on Dec's soft brown hair and held him a little tighter. "Come on baby, lets get suited up... big performance tonight."

"Aye..." Dec sighed looking up at Ant with teary eyes, Ants heart broke at his partners sad face, he couldn't make it better... but he could comfort him, so with that in mind he dipped in and placed a closed lip kiss on Declan's lips making the smaller Geordie close his eyes and melt into the kiss. "I love you Decky." He said pulling away and wiping the tears from his eyes. "So much."

"Love you too."

"And the next act... CONNIE TALBOT EVERYBODY!!" Dec announced the young girl and both the boys  walked off stage and stood at the side. The symphony started and the soft music and lyrics hit everyone in the room like a tsunami of emotion.

Ant didn't care about the stage hands and producers that could be watching, he brought his arm up and wrapped it around the one person in the world that had meant everything to him. The person that carried him through the hardest time in his life. The person who could make him smile in the darkest of his days, who could kiss the deepest of wounds better. The person he would happily spend every minute of everyday with.

He felt Dec tense slightly but they both felt the bond between them strengthen and their hearts continued to beat in perfect synchronicity but faster than ever when both of them realised that nothing else mattered... nothing mattered but each other.

The song slowly came to an end and the boys heard their cue. Dec new what he needed to do and did it perfectly and professionally as usual. It was Ant who struggled... he struggled because he had been blind. Dec had always known it... they were made to be together, not even being on different sides of the world could ruin what they had. The idea was terrifying but nothing had ever felt so right.

"One more thing ladies and gentlemen before we go for a break if you please..." Dec looked at his partner in panic What is he doing!! "I just realised I've been blind... and I don't think I can wait any longer for this. I've known one person for the past 31 years of my life and since then he's been the centre of my world, the meaning behind every waking moment."

"We've hidden who were are for so long and I don't want to do it anymore... I'd like to do something I should have done when we were 19." Dec's heart skipped a beat as he listened to his boyfriend in a mixture of confusion, anticipation and infatuation.

"I'd get down on one knee but I doubt I'd be able to get up..." Ant laughed nervously, looking into Dec's green eyes and seeing his entire world held in his irises. Instead of kneeling he went for something intimate, his head lent down and rested his forehead on Dec's, feeling their breath mingle together warmly. "Declan Joseph Oliver Donnelly... I've loved you longer than I remember, I think your the most adorable, funny, talented and kind hearted human being on the planet and I'd put money on that." The crowd let out a chuckle, those of them how weren't holding their breath in excitement.

"Would you... make my time on the earth worthwhile and do me the honour of being my husband?" Ant felt sick to his stomach, he was terrified, his hands reached out and took Dec's smaller hands in his. His heart lept from his chest when Dec, blinking away the tears, nodded his head against his boyfriend's.

"Yes... yes... god yes..." Ant let out a relieved breath, and he couldn't think of anything he'd rather do then kiss his boyfriend passionately, their lips danced incandescently in front of the thousands of people cheering in the crowd.

Neither of the boys could hear it though, not when their minds were consumed by pure, undying love for each other. Both thinking the same thing over and over again as they held each other tightly.
