Recap of part one posted on my message board if you're interested ✌️

I slipped out of the comfort of the best sleep I've had in months and something about where I was just felt right, although at first, I wasn't sure where I was. All that mattered really was, I wasn't cold... I rubbed my head affectionately against the warmth of my pillow, the soft material brushed gentle against my skin and made me realise that it wasn't a pillow... let alone mine.

The events of last night flooded back to me and I felt another wave of warmth flow through me.

I smiled and held onto the other man a little tighter.

I'd been awake for a while, it was just passing 1 o'clock in the afternoon, but he was sleeping soundly and I didn't have the heart to wake him, besides I was past the point of comfortable and I could lie like this all day.

Yesterday had been a pretty shitty day, the weather meant that driving the ambulance was even more dangerous than usual... we'd gotten all the patients back in time, bar one. A kid. That's the perils of the job, you save lives but it's always the ones you lose you remember.

I felt tears prickle at the corners of my eyes but blinked them away, along with the gruesome image of the boy's lifeless body.

After that, of course, my car had to break down on the way home so I was left walking in the torrential rain. What I didn't expect to see at the bus stop was someone who was seeming to have a worse day than me. By what he was wearing I could tell he hadn't intended to be walking home alone. My heart broke at his shivering form, racked with harsh sobs and when a pair of mesmerising green eyes shone up at me, I instantly felt the need to protect him.

He was gorgeous, that's for sure and well out of my league. I was guessing he worked at one of the nearby clubs but I didn't want to assume. What mattered was that he was in trouble and no one seemed inclined to help him.

My gaze wandered down to where he was sleeping peacefully on my chest, the way his messy hair flopped down over his forehead, how his cheek squished adorably against my shirt and how his lips pouted and fluttered when he exhaled. Something in particular caught my attention though, it was the nasty looking bite... well, a hickey... that marked his perfectly pale skin a dark purple colour and had even managed to draw blood. My heart dropped to my stomach...

He was spoken for.

Well of course he was, someone as cute as that.

The small Geordie stirred slightly and blinked awake, he rubbed his head into my chest for a moment before his brow furrowed in adorable confusion.

"Morning.... well afternoon." I smiled letting a hand run through his soft, sandy-brown locks. He turned his head up and his eyes met mine. He had nice eyes.

"Oh sorry... ummm... I guess I was really tired." He mumbled sheepishly.

"Aye, ya Certainly seemed it last night." I smiled, he gave me guilty look and sat up, I did the same and leant against the head board.

"S-sorry about all that... I'd had a bad day... I'm not normally that clingy." He laughed and tucked a strand of hair behind his ear.

"It's fine honestly... I don't mind cute guys clinging to me every now and then." He blushed a deep shade of red and looked down shyly, making my heart beat faster in my chest.
