My name is Y/N Potter, I'm Harry's twin sister, everyone seems to forget about me though.
Lord Voldemort didn't care if the Potter's daughter lived, he just wanted the son gone.
The fact my brother survived the killing curse, while a miracle, is all anyone ever seems to remember about the family besides the fact my parents died that night in Godric's Hollow.
Everyone always says I look just like my mom, Lily, that the only difference is that I have blonde hair instead of red and I have hazel eyes like my dad James.
I can see the comparison when I see pictures of her, but it sometimes feels like they're comparing me to my mother.
Harry and I both turned 20 a few days ago and my girlfriend Ginny's birthday is tomorrow, she'll be 19!
Now, when most people hear 'girlfriend' they assume she's just my friend that's a girl, but she's not.
We've been dating for 2 years now.
Everyone thought she'd wind up with my brother Harry, and while she does find him attractive from what I understand, she apparently wanted to be with me.
For my birthday Harry paid for me to get a tattoo for some reason, I think it's so people would stop comparing me to our mom, I decided to get a small moon and some stars on my shoulder blade.
After the battle of Hogwarts, Harry and I both became Aurors, this means we're kind of like the muggle police, but for wizards.
We capture dark wizards and most witches and wizards just call us 'Dark Wizard Catchers'.
While Harry's the head of the department, he doesn't typically tell me what to do like he does everyone else, he trusts me to do my job properly.
Today I have to ask him to have tomorrow off..... this should be fun..... he hates when I do these things last minute.
As I walked to his office, I passed by Ginny's older brother Ron, who's apparently surprised I'm at the Ministry today.
"Y/N, aren't you supposed to be out finding that guy Harry was talking about last week?" Ron asked
