Lav and I have been together since we were at Hogwarts.
While she was in Gryffindor, I'm a Hufflepuff, not that your houses matters.
She has this really bad habit of always wanting to be in a relationship, and it doesn't really matter who it's with.
She went to the Yule Ball with Seamus, she dated Ron for a few months in our 6th year, and in 7th year she started dating me.
She's also broken up with me REPEATEDLY to date other people, I honestly don't know why I keep taking her back, I keep telling myself it's because I love her but at this point I'm honestly not sure if I actually do..... I think I do? I'm starting to think it might be the fact I don't know how to be with anyone BUT Lav.
Don't get me wrong, Lav is beautiful, but her personality SUCKS!
She's incredibly obsessive, and she can be extremely controlling, she also gets jealous over the pettiest things, at least they're petty in my opinion.
She once got mad at me, and refused to talk to me for 3 days, because I hugged Seamus goodbye before leaving after we graduated.
Mind you, Seamus is my best friend!
Her excuse for not talking to me?
"Y/N, you don't see itbut I do. Seamus wants to be with you, I see the way he looks at you, he makes it obvious. I really don't want you hanging out with him anymore."
My response had mad her mad...
"Lav, baby, I love youbut I'm not gonna stop being friends with Seamus because you got jealous over a hug. He's my best friend, he's like a brother to me, our relationship isn't like you seem to think it is. There are things about Seamus that I know that you don't, and it's not my place to tell you those thingsbut I can promise you, he doesn't see me like that."
She was mad about the fact I refused to tell her what I knew about him that she didn't, she insisted that as my girlfriend, it was her business too, which it definitely wasn't.
The fact was, I knew Lav was seeing what she wanted to see, Seamus is gay....
He's been in a relationship with our friend Dean Thomas since 5th year, albeit in secret until a year after graduation, he definitely doesn't see me that way.
To put it bluntly, I don't have the right parts!
However, Seamus' love life is none of her business and it's not my place to out him to make her happy.
