THESE ARE NOT CANON, DON'T COME FOR ME! Voldemort is supposed to have WON the first wizarding war in this chapter!
I'll start by introducing myself, my name is Y/N Lestrange or should I say Y/N Crabbe now. My parents, Bellatrix and Rodolphus, had me in 1980.... Much to my mother's disgust. She hates my father, she's told me repeatedly that she'd give anything for me to be anyone else's daughter aside from his.
I, however, love my father.
When the Dark Lord won the wizarding war my mother all but abandoned me with my father to be some sort of mistress for him, which is where my disdain for her begins. She was never there, my father and my Uncle Rabastan raised me, she was off with the Dark Lord doing whatever it is they do..... given that I have two little brothers, Tom and Mattheo, I'm pretty sure I know what it is he wants my mother for.
Come my 17th birthday though..... she magically wanted a say in my life. What did she want you might ask? For me to pick a pureblood man to marry right after my 18th birthday!
'Pick someone Y/N or I will!'
That was what she'd said when my Uncle brought me to Malfoy Manor to talk to my mother. I refused, I told her I wanted a marriage filled with love, communication, and trust. I didn't want HER marriage!.... But that's what I got! Or so I thought.
She kept her word, she hand picked my husband herself, and while I'd begged my father to help me, there was nothing he could do. Mother had the backing of EVERY death eater in Voldemort's ranks!.... Aside from Uncle Rabastan and Father that is, they wanted me to be happy!
She picked Vincent Crabbe, which while he seemed like a dumb, gluttonous pig throughout most of our years at Hogwarts, he had THRIVED under the direction of the Carrows in Muggle Studies and Dark Arts class! The latter used to be Defense Against the Dark Arts but Voldemort soon changed that after he won the war.
My husband can be an incredibly vicious, cruel, and malicious man when he doesn't get his way. Vince gets what Vince wants, and it doesn't matter how he achieves his goal, it doesn't matter who he has to hurt, he's GOING to get what he wants! He's a very effective Dark Wizard and he's risen high within Voldemort's ranks because of this, that's why she chose him!
She wanted me to marry a high ranking Death Eater, someone of pureblood status who wouldn't have an issue raising any potential children to share the pureblood beliefs..... Vince was perfect.... At least according to my mother.
On my wedding day I begged my father to do something, telling him I'd marry literally anyone but Vince, all he had to do was name someone and I'd be more than willing to marry them! It was no use, my mother had already told everyone within the ranks that I was to marry Vince, I had no choice!
