'Topper where is my cereal? I know you took it because mom and dad are away and they don't eat it so please tell me what the hell you've done with it!' I shouted at him from the kitchen I wasn't sure where he was though. He always steals my stuff just to annoy me, he hates my cereal and sometimes I can't stand the thought of his face.
I got dressed to hang out by the pool with Sarah today, we've always been best friends, I know she ditched Kiara because she didn't like it when people got too close to her but she's never been like that with me considering we grew up together, that includes my brother and hers. I was in a sapphire blue bikini which had a criss cross back wandering around the kitchen singing waiting for her to come.
'I see forever in your eyes I feel okay when I see you smile, coz I'm in a field of dandelions wishing on every one that you'd be mine,' I sang before I was interrupted by a very annoying voice which had an even more annoying owner.
'wow Angel, you sure can sing how bout I hear more of that voice in bed?' Rafe remarked
'great to see you too Rafe, where's Sarah?' I asked.
'She wanted to make sure she was wearing the right bikini for seeing Topper,' he groaned frustrated I knew how he felt Sarah trying to get the rightoutfit was hell, for anyone with her. That is kinda disgusting though.
'Vomit,' I repulsed my brother and my best friend.
'I know,' Rafe cringed

'So Mara fancy throwing a party at yours tonight? your parents are out of town.' Sarah asked.
'That's a good idea I said,' laying on the sunbeds in front of the pool.
'so then our mission tonight is to get you a date,' Sarah squealed.
'Not a chance, never gonna happen.' I shot her idea down.
'Oh come on who would you say is the hottest out of the guys?' she asked.
Rafe was the clear winner as much as I didn't want to admit it
'Kelce,' I picked at random.
'well then I'll try my best to set you up with Kelce.'
before I could answer her I felt a pair of arms lift me up and before I could do anything I had already made a splash in the pool.
Once I had resurfaced I looked up to see Rafe stood laughing with Topper and Sarah laughing with him at me.
'Why would you do that?' I half shouted.
'Heard you were having a party and decided it should be a pool party,' he shrugged smugly.
I got out of the pool and walked over to him.
'You look like you need a hug Rafe,' I smirked and wrapped my arms around him as he squirmed around in my grip, soaking him in the process.
'Haha she got yougood bro,' Top laughed.
'Later Rafe,' smirked as he stormed off.
'See you later Angel' I heard in the distance.

'Why does Rafe call you Angel Mara?' Topper asked sipping his beer we were by ourselves waiting for people to arrive in the kitchen.
'Cuz he knows it pisses me off' I stated.
'if I didn't know any better Rafe has a crush on you,' I almost choked on my vodka lemonade.
'No he doesn't don't be ridiculous he's just being stupid besides he forever annoys me,' I cringed.
'Whatever, just promise me you won't go out with him?' he asked.
'Why?'
'Because I'm your big brother and I don't want you getting hurt, I've seen how upset heleaves his 'pointless hookups' as he calls them' why was he even telling me this? I don't like Rafe and he certainly doesn't like me.

'Scar, Mara do you guys wanna jump into the pool?' Sarah asked.
'absolutely,' we giggled and ran through the crowd of drunken people singing and dancing.
'hey girls, who dares me to jump off the roof and into the pool?' I giggled.
'Oh my god are you serious?' scarlett asked.
'Absolutely!' I was completely and utterly drunk.
I stumbled up onto the rooftop above the pool and everyone was shouting for me to do it.
'Amara get down from there!' Topper shouted.

I was cut off by a pair of strong arms lifting me up I looked up to see who it was, Rafe.
'hey Angel, can I join you?' he asked with a smirk.
'Let's do it,' I giggled and wrapped my legs around his waist so I could stay there and before we fell from a height, within a few seconds we were in the water.
when we resurfaced I heard cheers from all around us I just laughed as Rafe picked me up and placed me on his shoulders, dancing to the music when my attention was diverted by the pogues crashing the party.
'Rafe, look who's here,' I tapped him on the shoulders and got out of the pool going to find Topper but realised he had found them first, Jason, the other pogue, I used to date him, he tried to have sex with me, I said no he persisted thank god sarah came round and he stopped. It sounds like I'm over it, the way I tell people, when I say people I mean Sarah Topper and Rafe it's as if I'm not scared of him and I don't cry most nights when I think about what he almost did, what he did and what he said. That's the biggest reason that our Kooks and the Pogues don't get along, none of his friends know what he did, I doubt they would still be friendsif they did know but they don't so nothing's gonna change.
'You better get out of my house right now pogue or I swear to god I will beat your ass!' Topper threatened Jason.
'hey where's your sister? I wanna say hi if you know what I mean' Jason teased and as if he had appeared out of nowhere Rafe came and send a hard blow straight to Jason's head knocking him on his ass covering his now very broken nose, a whole brawl broke out between the two Rafe pummelling the other boy's face in blood was all over the white marble floor and rafe was sort of scaring me, he had this look in his eyes that I had never seen before.
'Rafe stop it!' I shouted at him Jason looked within an inch of death and Rafe looked like he would kill him, our eyes locked for a split second and I saw his relax a bit as he pushed Jason for the last time.
'Come on Mara we can go to bed,' Topper suggested and lead me up to the outdoor bed where we have all our deep conversations.
'I'm sorry you had to see that, you didn't deserve it sis,' he apologised as I snuggled into the duvet.
'You're the best big brother anyone could ask for Toppy,' I giggled and slowly fell asleep.
