Hera, Zeb and Sabine showed up not long after. They came up behind Kanan.
At first they thought that Kanan had tricked them.
"Hey Kanan it's good to see your back to your usual self." Zeb said jokingly.
Hera walked forward. She could here slight talking. Wispering.
"Kanan? Are you alright?"
Kanan's shoulders began to quiver.
"Kanan?" She placed a hand on his shoulder.
He looked up at Hera.
"He's gone Hera. You came to late."
Tears rolled down his face. Hera got closer to see what he was holding.
What she saw made her gasp. Hera stumbled away, her hands covered her mouth. Then she began to sob falling beside Kanan.
She pulled Ezra's legs onto her lap.
"I'm so so sorry Ezra."
Sabine and Zeb came up next to them. Sabine cried and Zeb barley held it in.
"Good bye Ezra. My lover, my brother, my friend." Sabine said between sobs.
Good bye Ezra. My roommate, my buddy, my bro." Zeb said with a cracking voice.
"Good bye Ezra. My son, my hero, my flyer." Hera said quietly.
"Good bye Ezra. My padawan, my son, my family." Kanan said softly. "Sleep well."
