77. crawling back to you

the next morning you woke up to hear the sound of a whiny baby and people in the kitchen downstairs. you wanted to get up and go shower but you'd forgotten mikasa was with you again.

you smiled being where you'd longed to be for months. though, you wanted to shower you stayed in bed so you wouldn't wake mikasa. she'd been throwing up all night and this was the only peace she'd gotten since before she was drunk.

"morning homos we made br- Y/N L/N WHAT IS THIS?" sasha came into the room with her hair in a messy bun and holding a frying pan

"SHHHH, i'll explain later!" you yell whispered back to sasha

"did y'all fuck?" she mouthed

"no we're just sleeping naked together for fun? YES WE FUCKED!" you whispered

"give me the deets later, bye." she closed the room door. when she left you laid back down only to see your ex girlfriend wide awake.

"morning."

"i thought you were asleep?" you smiled

"i was until i heard your voice." mikasa got up from the bed "way to tell our business."

"wait-where are you going?" you asked

"shower, i still have work. don't worry i'll come back if you want me to."

you half smiled with your cheeks feeling hot.

"so i'm assuming that's a yes?"

"...yes." you said quietly.

"come." she invited you into her bathroom to go shower with her.

you stood underneath the steaming hot water, letting it wash away all the feelings that had been building up. you felt her arms wrapped around your body from behind your body, back where you belonged.

you wanted to ask what this meant but you just let it happen. she wanted to ask too, but she didn't want to fuck up her luck. she was surprised you'd even let her do what she did with you last night.

"i meant to say this last night but...you know. you kept your tattoo." she sounded happy

"oh yeah...i couldn't bring myself to get rid of it."

"me either." mikasa said

it was so hard for you to still hate her considering everything she said and showed you. you could hear her singing along to the song playing.

"hey look at me." she paused her singing, you obviously turned around and she surprised you with a forehead kiss.

"thanks." you smiled, looking up at her. "i'm assuming you feel much better from last night?"

"i do actually." she grinned. you loved that look on her face, she knew she was starting to win you back.

if i would've known it would be like this again i would've left reira's car alone
