you sat outside for a good hour, you laid on the ground and stared up at the night sky with your bottle right beside you. the one thing you loved about drinking was that it was always gonna be there for you, the bad thing would be that you'd regret this in the morning.

you felt yourself dozing off outside until you heard a sliding glass door open. you immediately sad up and turned around to see mikasa coming outside with a saddened look on her face.

"oh- im sorry i thought you went to bed by now." she said "i'll leave-."

"stay if you want, doesn't make a difference to me." you laid back down

"okay." she said quietly, closing the door behind herself and sitting on a pool chair not too far from you. "why are you laying on the ground?"

"stomach hurts." you lied, your hands rested over your belly while you looked straight up at the sky.

"hm."

you both enjoyed the silence and the presence of the other. this was enough to calm your disturbed soul.

"hey are you done drinking that?" she asked, pointing at the bottle next to you

"take it." you sighed

you sensed her stand up and walk closer to you to take the bottle but instead of going back to her seat she sat criss cross by the edge of the pool, right next to you.

what is she doing?

she drank out of "your" bottle and looked out into the distance, looking like she had something on her mind but was too pussy to say it.

im kinda bored, i wish she'd talk to me lowkey

"you seem sad." she said, looking down at you

"i am."

"is that why you came outside?"

"no, actually to get away from all of you. but it looks like you found me, so." you said sarcastically. god, she missed your smart ass remarks

"same. i wanted to come here to genuinely help out but it's so hard when everything is just a constant reminder of a life you used to have." mikasa explained

"i know the feeling."

"so...how have you been, really?" she asked

"well, i thought i was in the right path but today just broke me down."

"i hate to keep saying same...but same." she laughed

"at least im not the only one." you found comfort in your shared feelings.

"you know, after everything i was scared i'd never get to see you again. you were more than just a lover to me you know." she said. you began to sat up so you could face her.

"...me too. i missed having a bestfriend to just run and tell everything to."

"i was afraid you moved on without me. i mean you deserve to move on though. everything that happened was just fucking crazy and you deserve to hate me-
