"Honey, come here" Ellis giggled "Look at this crib"

"Oh, I like it!" Nena smiled and kissed Ellis' forehead

Ellis and Meredith had been looking at furniture for the nursery all morning

"Mer, are you still up?" Derek asked as he ran in. He and Nena were painting the baby room

"Yeah" She smiled weakly "But I should go to bed"

"I'll help you" He smiled and walked towards her

"I'll see you two in a bit" Meredith smiled before driving towards her room where Derek carried her to the bed and started tucking her in "I'm so happy for them" Meredith smiled

"Me too. They really deserve it" Derek smiled

Meanwhile downstair, Ellis and Nena were talking about the pregnancy

"When should we tell them?" Nena giggled

"After mom's nap? I got the 2 shirts ready" Ellis smiled

"I can't wait to see their faces" Nena kissed Ellis and placed her hand on the tiny baby bump

"We're gonna be parents" Ellis smiled

...

"Derek?" Meredith yelled as she woke up

"Mer?" Derek ran in

"Hi" She smiled

"Hi" Derek kissed her lips

"Hmm" She groaned "I love you" She smiled

"I love you too" Derek lifted the headrest so she would sit up a bit more "Zola just called" Derek smiled

"Oh- She did?" Meredith smiled

"She's coming home with Riley. Jeff has to work" Derek said

"Our baby will be home again" Meredith smiled and tried to grab Derek's hand but she couldn't open her hand so she just looked away

Derek didn't notice and kissed her temple before scooping her up and placing her back in the chair so he could help her to the bathroom

As Derek emptied the bag, her arm started jerking up and down

"Derek, make it stop.. Please" Meredith cried

"Calm down, shh" He grabbed her hand and tried to keep it from moving to violently

"Hurts" She kept crying as every small jerk she made kept hurting

"I know, I know" He was clueless. He had no idea what to say

"Can I change you?" He asked once it stopped

"I just wanna lay down" She sighed

"I know, maybe we can lay down on the couch in the living room with the girls?" Derek suggested "They are unaware that ZoZo and Riley are visiting" Derek

"Okay" Meredith sighed and Derek started changing Meredith's clothes

"Maybe we can take a bath later today" Derek suggested

"A shower is fine" She softly smiled

"Are you sure? You always seem to enjoy them" Derek frowned slightly

"I'm sure, Der" Meredith whispered

"Okay then" Derek said and together they went to the living room

"Oh, mom! You're awake" Ellis giggled

Derek lifted Meredith out of the chair and placed her on the couch before pulling her into his arms and letting her head rest on his chest

"We also have to show you something, we bought something for the baby" Nena giggled and got up. Each she and Ellis grabbed a shirt and turned it towards Meredith and Derek

"World's best sister and world's best brother?" Derek frowned

"Twins?" Meredith gasped

"Twins" Nena and Ellis giggled

Meredith's hand jerkly moved to her mouth

"Oh my-" Derek gasped

"So 3 babies next week" Derek gasped

"3 babies?" Ellis frowned

"Zola is coming over with Riley and they'll stay here for a bit" Meredith smiled

"So nice" Ellis buried her head in Nena's arms

Meredith and Derek were cuddling outside in front of the campfire when they heard Nena screaming their names

"Help me up" Meredith demanded and Derek quickly helped her to her chair. He started to strap her in when she smashed his arm away "Go check on them first"

Derek nodded and ran inside where he saw a crying Nena hovering over Ellis

"What happened?" He asked

"She's bleeding" Nena forced out

Derek looked at his daughter, her face was pale and tears were streaming down her face

"Okay, we'll bring you to the hospital" Derek said and Meredith slowly drove inside. Derek quickly told her what was happening

"Take her, I'll call Alex and I'll see if he can bring me in" She said sternly as she tried to fight the tears that were pooling in her eyes

"Love you" Derek kissed her cheek and scooped up Ellis and they ran out of the house "I'll call Jo on the way"

"Please Alex, pick up" Meredith muttered to herself as she was calling him

"Hi Mer!" He picked up

"Alex, can you please come in immediately. Ellis is rushed to the hospital" Meredith started sobbing

"I'm on my way" Alex said and hung up

Meredith kept sobbing, her heart was breaking for her youngest daughter. She felt herself drooping as her body slowly slipped out of her chair "Damnit!" She yelled in anger and pain

"Mer?!" She heard Alex' voice 15 minutes later

"In here" She yelled back

"Oh- Mer!" Alex looked confused at seeing his best friend barely sitting in her chair "I'm sorry, I'll help you up" Alex lifted her and she groaned in pain from the movement. "Let's get you in the car"

Alex helped her in her coat and shoes and helped her in his car and they started driving to Grey-Sloan Memorial

They hurried their way to OB and entered the examination room

"What happened?" Meredith asked
