As Lee Hyunjin was happily making his way down the narrow corridor in order to find Hanuel, he bumped into someone he'd barely seen this entire journey.

Lee Hyunjin felt a bit iffy when he saw her but he smiled nonetheless. He was in a really good mood so he cheerily said, "hey! You're... you're Haejin right?" He remembered Han Shinwoo mentioned her a couple of times.

Park Haejin pursed her lips when she saw the person in front her. Unlike Kim Jaehyun she didn't interact enough with Lee Hyunjin to realise that he'd lost his memories, she also didn't know how he was alive after everything that had happened.

Park Haejin looked at him as if examining his expression for something before she said in a tone that sounded forced, "You and I aren't close enough for you to call me by my first name."

The smile on Lee Hyunjins face died awkwardly, even if his EQ wasn't exceptionally high, he was at least very good at telling when someone disliked him or didn't want him around, "ah, sorry. I... I didn't mean to offend you," Lee Hyunjins shoulders sunk noticeably.

Park Haejin flinched imperceptibly, she didn't know how to face Lee Hyunjin, "no need to act friendly with me anymore," she brushed passed him without looking back.

Lee Hyunjin wanted to say something, there was a really weird feeling in his chest that he couldn't explain. It was like a knot he had yet to unravel but the feeling was vague, he could only tell that it was unpleasant and he didn't like it.

He stood in place and watched Park Haejin walk away, it took a few moments before he smacked his cheeks and cheered himself up, he remembered his mission and his cheery mood came back.

Lee Hyunjin walked in the opposite direction Park Haejin had gone in.

The two of them were unaware that one of the doors along the corridor was slightly open the whole time and two people walked out from there, one a black beast with amber eyes and the other an old man with grey hair and silver coloured eyes.

The old man, dressed in a butlers attire looked towards the end that Lee Hyunjin had gone in before saying to the beast beside him, "do you think that master would want to know about this?"

The black beast, Eun had a deep frown on her face but she still said, "Master would probably conclude that that girl is bullying his grandson...."

Vahriz, the butler hummed, and said plainly, "in that case I wouldn't be surprised if he killed her."

The two of them stepped into the corridor and walked off, looking completely unfettered by their earlier conversation.

"Hanuel-ssi! I think I can do it now!" Lee Hyunjin burst through the doors like a storm with a bright smile on his face, his exaggerated movements made the white hanfu he wore flutter.

"Call me grandpa! Granpa!" Hanuel emphasised with a huff. He was leisurely laying on a couch with a book in hand.

Lee Hyunjin scowled back at him, "why are you so obsessed with being an old man?" He folded his arms as he asked.

Hanuel scoffed, "I'm much-much older than you think I am kiddo."

Lee Hyunjin rolled his eyes, "either way, I don't have a grandfather like you that whines like a little kid," he stuck his tongue out at Hanuel.

Hanuel laughed when he saw Lee Hyunjins expression, he waved his hand, "alright alright, what is it my cute grandson wants to show me?"

Lee Hyunjin walked closer to where Hanuel was sitting, the place they were in that was decked out like a living room, with comfy looking couches and an obsidian coffee table in the centre, all neatly laid out on a white tiled floor with a small grey/black checked carpet.
Lee Hyunjin sat down opposite Hanuel and said, "Jaehyun sunbae gave me some advice on using my projection, I think I can do it now if I try."
