A chipmunk ran and ran towards a big tree
As it ran it heard a noise and got distracted and tripped over a twig
It rolled down a small hill and landed on a pile of dried leaves
Leaves flew all over
When the chipmunk opened it's eyes it was on it's back just watching the leaves
Another snap
Quickly it got up and hid behind a rock
It looked for the source of the sound and couldn't find anything
For the third time a sound was heard as she looked up a tree
Something fuzzy came barreling down at a fast pace
She tried to run but ran into the rock
The fuzzy thing fell on top of her
Luckily it was fuzzy and didn't hurt as much when it fell on her
He fell over and tried to run
She looked over and also tried to run
What was going on
He was trying to gather food but fell over
She ran trying to get away because she didn't speak to no one
She thought to herself, why did I have to follow the sound
They both ran but didn't know where to
And ended up bumping into each other again
They both screamed, you again
They looked at each other and quickly looked away
They tried to avoid each other again but ended up looking
What were these feelings they thought
It felt funny but not funny
A bit squeemish but not enough to be squeemish
How odd
He knew the way but she didn't and he asked her if she needed help finding her way out
She blushed and didn't want him to know
He grabbed her hand and lead her out
She silently went
He felt small shivers again but kept his mouth shut
Infront a group of skunks were trying to take his food
He froze and tried to run the other way
But she was still holding on
He asked her to run too because he didn't want them to know we're he left his food
She didn't ask just ran
She found a familiar place and knew where she could go
She lead him then
And he let her because she looked like she knew where she was going
They went to the other side
He then looked away and didn't want to say a thing
She let the silence fill the emptiness
After sometime he decided it was time to leave
She asked him why he was running
He said, you wouldn't understand
She then said what makes you think that
He looked at her and said, bye
She looked at him and told him, 'say that to everyone and that's all you'll ever know'
He stopped and came back and faced her and asked,' what do you know about me'
She looked away and said, nothing
But nothing is something
He couldn't believe she would try to put some sense into him
When he was the one to disappear or not say anything
Everyone kept taking his food why would he want to get to know anyone so they could take his food--no-- he thought
He laughed a bit and said, you want to get to know me---fine
He stayed with her for a few weeks and couldn't believe who she was
He didn't know if he could leave anymore
She after sometime left without a word
When he tried to look for her she was no where
But isn't that what he had been doing to everyone
The feeling wasn't pleasant
He had fallen in love
In a short moment everything twisted
What could he say now
