THE PENGUINS 2

The couple had their first set of chicks

They weren't expecting there to be more than one but when another showed how happy they could be

Each one was cared for and didn't go unattended

As the chicks grew more chicks came along

But the real story begins with the set of chicks

They grew and grew until they were ready to have their own place

But these two were unseperatable we're one was the other was found so they chose to be around each other

Then one day something happened

One found a pebble but this pebble was no ordinary pebble even the penguin didn't know that

The other penguin found a pebble too but it was ordinary

Every day they both knew that they would find a penguin of their own

When the day came the ordinary pebble penguin was the one who found another

The other penguin grew a bit sad

It would wipe at his pebble hoping that someone would come and choose his pebble

As he kept wiping his pebble he started to see that his pebble was different

He wiped and wiped day by day until it was completely wiped out of it's first coating

Under it there was something strange

It's color

It looked like a milky way

The penguin knew that he had to keep it safe

He kept it away from the other penguins and he hid it in a place no one would find it

But then came the day that penguins found a mate

He was trying to find someone with another ordinary pebble

Try as he could but no one saw his pebble like he did

He grew sad again

Then out of the corner of his eye he spotted a rare looking penguin

Now she didn't look like the other penguins

But there she was

And she looked lost

He found that funny and followed her

Just when he thought she was lost he found that she was just different

Then when he thought that he knew what she was up to she appeared before him

He stumbled back and fell on his bottom

How did he not see her she was just on the other side

She then asked him, is it me or are you... lost?

He didn't know if he should laugh because that's what he thought about her

So he said, no, no not lost just looking around

She then said oh, what are you looking for then maybe I can help you

He then said, it's alright I'll find it but how about you what are you doing?

She then said just seeing if someone spots me, and here you are...

He was astounded how in the world did he stumble across such a straight forward penguin

She was definitely no ordinary penguin

He then brought his little ordinary pebble and showed it to her

She lifted it up towards the sun and turned quickly around and took a step forward

He didn't know what to do or say

She then looked back and said, are you coming or staying there

He knew then what it all meant

She tried not to laugh because she knew all along that he was following her and she made him think twice

And now she knew he didn't know what to do

The real pebble he should have gave her was given to her later

He planned it all well

When the day came she was the one astounded

She received the pebble

What both of them didn't know was how special was that pebble

That who found it and truly loved would receive true happiness

When she took the pebble it turned into a honey looking color with speckles of pink

She took care of the pebble and the pebble brought true happiness

Now that stone became passed down to many more generations
