Then one day the snail saw something and tried to follow
But it went too fast
Next time the snail said
After a few days the snail again went into the garden but this time it waited
Then suddenly a —What
The snail thought
What is a slug doing in it's spot
The slug didn't know the snail was there and bumped straight into it
They both fell sideways
The snail spoke first
What are you doing here it asked
The slug looked surprised that someone was there
It tried to make a break for it but kept falling over
The slug couldn't believe it still
But regardless it finally spoke
It said I found this place
It's mine
The snail grew mad and couldn't believe the audacity of the slug
Saying it was his when it's been there before
The snail then said if it's yours then why did you get frighten
The slug sluggishly denied it
The snail then said I've been here since there was nothing
The slug couldn't say more
The snail knew it had won
But the slug still wanted to protest
Then suddenly the door opened and someone came out
Both of them rushed to hide
Yeah they both didn't own that place and they knew it
But quickly they tried to rush out
******
Sometimes a truce is better
For these two that's true
