In the town everyone whispered and said stories about a silver frog
It was said that if anyone found the frog they would be granted a wish
Other times they would say that they would vanish
Tales were told
A woman with her sick child wanted a cure
But first she had to leave her child with someone
She decided that she would take on the journey for her child
As she went deep in the forest she passed animals of all sorts
Then one day as she was setting up a fire she heard a thud
To her left then it went right behind her
She froze and hoped it or whatever it was that it would spare her
She then turned and couldn't see anything
There wasn't anything there
Then to her right a small woman appeared before her
She asked her if she would play with her
The woman didn't know what to do
Why was there a small woman there out of all places
We're did she come from
Why was she so small
The small woman approached her and held her hand as she ran
The woman followed
She didn't know what to make of it
The small woman brought her in a clearing were a pond that was so clear you could see all the stones inside
The small woman said count to ten then find me
She decided to play along and hope that nothing bad would happen
At ten she quickly started searching but couldn't see were the small woman went
After a few hours a loud RR-RIBB-BITTT-T sound echoed by the pond
The woman ran towards the pond but didn't see anything
As she was losing hope a small ribbit was heard by her right hand
There on the ground was a bottle
She wondered why there was a bottle
Who could have left it there
Then the frog jumped up high before her face
She got scared and fell back
As she picked herself up the frog turned into the small woman
The woman couldn't believe it
How did she do it
The frog then winked at her and told her that that's what she came looking for
The woman couldn't believe it
How did she- the frog then said don't be afraid
I know your intentions are well and your heart is noble
Your just a mother looking for a cure
The woman couldn't believe it
The frog then told her that all she needed was to believe and that which she seeks will transform what is in the bottle into a cure
She was even more surprised
She let out tears that she had kept locked away
The frog then told her to add a drop of her tear because they are true
The woman couldn't thank the small woman enough
The frog didn't ask for anything nor did it want anything from her other than for her to cure her son
The woman left to go back home
And the frog sent the woman joy
When she got to her son she looked at him and couldn't control herself
She cried out of joy and held her son closely
As she held him she asked him to drink from the bottle as he did she hoped and hoped that he would get better
The kid began to have color in his cheeks and was happy
The woman couldn't be even more thankful to the frog
Her and her son had more joy in their lives and lived better days

Sometimes hope can cure
