It's been about five months since Emily and I started dating, we've been talking for two of those months. We try to spend the weekends together when we get them off. I've been working nonstop the last five months, 12 hour shifts and countless number of cases. I have a lot of vacation time built up and my boss is forcing me to take a two week vacation.

I decided that I was gonna head to Virginia this time and surprise Emily. Now I know I can't just waltz into the BAU and wait for Emily, so instead of me flying, I decided to head out after work. It was a 15 hour drive there, I would fly back on my way home. I had rented a car during lunch as I didn't want to put a thousands miles on my baby.

Emily was away on a case right now, she said they were close to finishing up, when she gets back she'll have the weekend off. I should arrive in Virginia around 11 o'clock Saturday morning, I'll leave work around 6 so if I need to stop I can. Luckily I have a police radar (I love being a cop).

I can't wait for our weekend off. I wish Jennifer was here to be with me, it's been a month since we've seen each other. Everyone keeps asking me what I do with my weekends off and I just shrug my shoulders and tell them I see my parents. Nobody knows I'm gay, at least I don't think they do.

I don't want them knowing about Jennifer just yet because it's still so new, I've had bad relationships before and I don't want to ruin anything. Plus, she's rich and a diplomats daughter, this could be just a fling.

The jet was already waiting on us, we quickly stopped by the hotel so we could grab our stuff. We got seated on the plane and Will took the seat beside me, I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Will has been flirting with me the last few months, it's so annoying.

"So, Emily what you got planned for the weekend?" He asked as he sat across from me. I put my book down to look at him.

"Well, I'm gonna go home and curl up on the couch with a bottle of wine and Netflix on the tv" I picked my book up trying to focus on the words.

"Would you like some company? I know a few good movies we could watch" I chuckled and shook my head, I closed my book and gave him my full attention.

"No, I'm sorry... I don't date coworkers. You're a really nice guy Will, but I'm currently talking to someone." His face fell as I said those words.

"Oh okay... He's a lucky guy then" he got up and went to the back of the plane to sit by himself. I curled up in my seat and started reading again. My phone beeped with a message and a smile spread across my face.

It was 8 o'clock when I finally made it to my apartment. I took my go bag to the laundry room and stripped from my clothes before heading up to my bedroom after starting the wash.

I turned on some soft music and ran some water for a hot bath. I added in my favorite bubble bath and let that run while I grabbed some wine and my phone.

I returned to the bathroom and put my things aside so I could sink into the tub, sighing as the hot water burned my skin in the best way possible.

I took a sip of wine as I strolled through social media before switching over to call Jennifer.

"Hello?" I smiled once I heard her voice.

"Hey baby, how's your vacation going?"

"Well, I'm still at work, I decided to pull a double since I'll be off for 2 weeks." I rolled my eyes laughing quietly.

"Do you ever rest Jennifer Jareau?"

"Now you know I don't baby, what are you doing beautiful?"

"Well, I'm sitting in the bathtub sipping wine and listening to Beyoncé. I wish you were here with me." she chuckled then sighed.

"I wish I was there too, these two weeks are gonna suck without you" I could hear her pouting through the phone.

"I know baby, this bath isn't the same without you" she groaned.

"Baby don't get me worked up while I'm working.." I laughed and we continued talking through the rest of my bath, I guess its been a slow night for her.

After we hung up I climbed out of the tub and dried off putting on my favorite lotion. I went through my nightly routine before climbing into bed wearing one of Jennifer's shirt and boxers. Closed my eyes finally going to sleep.

I finally made it into Virginia, I stopped by a local flower shop then picked us up some brunch before heading to Emily's brownstone.

Once I reached her house, I got out and leaned on the side of the car facing her place. I pulled my phone out calling her number.

"Hello?" I smiled hearing her voice knowing I'll be seeing her soon.

"Look outside I sent you a package" I heard her getting up and walking.

"What did you send me now Jennifer?" I smirked as I heard her walk to the door. I looked up as it opened. I heard her gasp quietly through the phone. I hung mine up first and I grabbed the flowers walking up to her.

"Hey.."

"Hi" she looked at me a smile tugging at her lips then she looked behind me frowning.

"Wait... You drove here?! That's a 15 hour drive..." I shrugged and leaned down to kiss her not before saying.

"I'll do anything for the woman I'm in love with.." she stood on her tip toes wrapping her arms around my neck.

"I love you too" she whispered against my lips before pulling me into a kiss. She pulled me into the house my foot kicking the door close. I turned us around and pinned her against the door as I flicked the lock. The flowers falling to the floor and brunch forgotten about in the car.

I wrapped my arm around her waist pulling her closer. "I can't believe you're here" she said against my lips.

"I had to see you baby.. I couldn't be away from you any longer and I'll always drive 15 to get to you , doesn't matter where you are I'll always come to you"

We didn't get out of bed until later that night and that's only because we needed food since I'll be here for two weeks.

Once we made it back home we put all the groceries away then cuddled on the couch watching Netflix.
