Capitol TV. Jenny Trinket is on after the Anthem of Panem played
This just in. A huge explosion was heard on the 7th street, where the Power Station for the Capitol, that receives the electricity from District 5, was affected this evening. People are speculating that, he explosion, was part of the uprisings that have been happening in the Districts, thus, affecting the Capitol and it;'s supplies. Stay tuned for more information.
Latier and Gaines, Presidential Palace, watching the news
- Senator Gaines, do you think that the Districts did this? - asks Senator Latier
- No - I Say. I believe that the Capitol did this to justify the explosion.
Of course, I say that to Latier because we are in the Palace. If not, I would have told him that I knew that District 5 was going to do the explosion act, as a form of defiance and to scare the Capitol people.
I'm just scared because tomorrow is the "Grand Party" for the one year anniversary of the Totalitarian Government and Snow has been acting weird.
- Senator Gaines - says President Coin. What an honor is to have you here in this afternoon.
- Thanks Madam President - I Say- My pleasure to be here.
- Please Senator, come to my office.
We go through seven halls, that smell with various flowers, foods and roses. After a long walk, we arrive at a great golden door, that has silver doorknobs and a password secured machine. The President enters the password and grants access to us. Inside, the room is really big, with a lot of decorations and a flag with an eagle in the center and thirteen stars around it. The President asks me to sit, and I do.
- Jayson, here I have full trust in you. I need you to listen to me carefully. Last night, I told you that I will escape the Capitol today. Tomorrow, is the Great Presidential Ball for the Magna celebration of the One Year anniversary of the Totalitarian Government. I have heard, directly from Snow, a plan to derogate the actual government and to implant something called, The Games. The Uprisings in the District are getting heavy and, already, Eleven of the Thirteen Districts have rebelled. The only districts that haven't rebelled are One and Two, and they are trying to stop the rebellion. Right now, District Thirteen, has all their weapons in attack mode, that means, that they have all their nuclear weapons trained to the Capitol. Things are getting worse by the minute and Snow is acting really weird. We discovered poison in his office in a video feedback that we saw. Tonight, the rebels will act in the Capitol. They already infiltrated parts of the Capitol but the peacekeepers and the Capitol army don't know about this. James Heavensbee, has already planned a way to get me out of here. Of course, to not raise suspicions, he already knows that I'm going to Thirteen to solve some problems, but, we are going underground. That means that tonight, Thirteen will die, the Senators will die and the Dark Days are to be borned. Please Jayson, play dead if necessary and escape. If Snow finds out that any of the Senators have survived, then the consequences will be horrid. Our mission is to save Panem and it's people. I believe that the Uprisings are just and have a really big justification. Do you promise me that you will do everything you can to save Panem, yourself and your family?
- Yes Madam President, I will. Please be safe and I hope to see you again someday.
- I know you will Jayson. Thanks for your service in all these years.
Suddenly, I hear the backdoor open and James Heavensbee is ready to rescue and retrieve the President and Me. So, i go with them, say my farewells and go to the Presidential Palace so no suspicions arise. I meet with Senator Latier in the Palace Courtyard
- Senator Latier, the Midnight Tree is looking beautiful tonight.
- Indeed it does Senator Gaines.
- I want to see it closer.
So, both of us go to the Hanging Tree and talk about the procedures of the President and everything that she told me.
When Latier and me are talking, suddenly, we hear a huge explosion in the Vicinity's of the Presidential Palace, and I knew it was time to go in.
