"Mmm like that," he moaned.
"You like that huh," you slurred as you pressed your fingers harder. He seemed to like the pressure you applied to his sensitive skin.
"Keep going."
"Who's the spoiled brat now?" You teased him.
You were currently massaging his scalp in the bathtub. Draken was positioned between your legs as you were sitting on the ledge; your back relaxed against the wall. Due to his towering height, you needed to sit a bit higher than him so you could comfortably reach his head. Your fingers worked delicately, rubbing circles along his scalp and making him feel relaxed and serene. The feeling was to die for.
"You remember the maid you fired a week ago?"
"What about her?"
At this point, you had already explained how the hell did you manage to one-up the assassin sent to kill you. It was supposed to be an ambush, but you were too sharp-eyed and perceptive for that. You knew that a foreign man was pretending to be your driver when you were looking down on your car from the studio of the tattoo artist. You also knew why today of all dates did he decide to try and kill you. You felt bad, you felt pity towards the inane death of your driver who had just been caught up in your mess but you couldn't do anything about it now. Furthermore, he had an insider assigned to keep an eye out for you and especially your driver. She was the maid; of course, she was. Typical strategy. That was one of the reasons why you predicted their plan. It would take more than a flimsy execution to defeat you, after all.
"She's their mole."
He looked up at you with those questioning eyes. If you could read minds, then you were sure that he was thinking of how the hell did you come up with such contentious speculation. "Are you sure?"
"I gave Yukichi two rings as a little gift. I just told him that I didn't want it anymore and it would be a waste since I just bought them."
Yukichi was your trusted chauffeur and bodyguard. He drove you to where you needed to go and then back home safely. You owed him so much and it killed you knowing that you can never repay his services now.
"What does that have to do with the maid being the mole?"
You continued massaging his head. "I knew someone was spying on us. It was weird how we'd get in trouble every time we weren't together."
"That's just a coincidence."
"So me being kidnapped from the nail salon and you getting caught up in a heated brawl with some other gangsters in a bar at the same time is normal?"
"Possibly."
You slapped him on his head, "Dumbass, they knew when we were the most vulnerable. You, in a bar, drunk. Me, at the nail salon, probably dozing off. We barely even go on our own during Saturdays too!"
"Okay ... and what about the ring?"
"He gave it to the maid."
After a few days of giving the silver rings you once owned to the driver, you saw the maid wearing one when she was setting the dining table. You were suspicious of her ever since she started working for you but you shrugged it off before. You did not put a tracking device there since you knew the spy was too smart to not check for bugs. But you knew that they would use the people you usually interact with to get information about you. And you were right. You supposed that the maid had initiated a secret relationship with the driver to get close to him. You needed to know the connections and affairs of the few people close to you in order to investigate who the traitor could be. It worked. And it worked in your favor. Yukichi had given the other ring to the maid indicating their relationship. It was a simple yet efficacious tactic. It was ridiculous, even.
