"No, you don't get it. SHE was the one who initiated the fight," Ginka tried to explain. She rolled her eyes and continued, "Bitch can't stand the idea she lost the secretary position to me."

Ginka was talking about the election that happened just a few hours ago for the class officers. It was her first time running for a position and seeing as she was fierce and competitive, she had won by landslide. She left a good impression on your classmates by helping them with oral recitations, letting them borrow her perfume after PE, and tying their hair up in braids. She was a thoughtful person and showed her affection through actions instead of flowery words. Being the class clown that brightened everyone's tiring day, you appreciated that about your friend.

Even though she did not have grades enough to make it to the top 20 of your batch, she was capable of mastering certain lessons and topics. The way she could balance her girlish lifestyle of shopping and checking out new clothes, school roles, and extracurricular activities—such as her piano lessons, made her look intimidating to you. From the outside, it seemed as if she got her life together; that she had control over what she wanted to do.

Today was Monday and you were currently eating lunch on one of the outdoor tables at your school's large patio. The scenery was bright and terrene. Potted flowers and trees were scattered around to give some structure to this landscape. Chrysanthemums and lilies decorated the entirety of the garden that filled half of this patio. Rina and Ginka were sitting beside each other on the opposite side of the table. Juno was not with you.

"I can't believe how petty some of y'all are." Rina scrunched their nose to show their disdain towards the immature attitudes of their classmates. Some girl tried to fight Ginka in the bathroom because she had lost to her. It was really childish.

Rina was a demure and strait-laced person. They were the typical straight A student who was also into sports such as volleyball and tennis. Though they were not on the honor roll, they still sought Academic validation and sports achievements. They were very passionate about their talents. You would not describe them as perfect, but they were the child every mother wanted to have; you envied them for that. The acclaimed "parent of the group," they were very responsible and modest.

But they were not as perfect as you all thought they were. They judged Juno for being boy-crazy and you for being such a timid friend. If you had to ask them, they would say how worrying it was that you never really talked about your life outside of school; it was always about the books you've read or how boring math class was or very rarely, your time with Baji.

"Where even is Juno?" asked Ginka while eating her bento.

"I don't know. Probably with some other gangster again," Rina bitterly replied.

"You know, Juno made the design for my posters. Sucks she didn't see me win awhile ago." It was obvious that Ginka was not listening to what your friend had just said.

"Gangster?!" You cut Ginka off and prodded Rina to continue.

"Yeah, her boyfriend. What? You didn't know?"

"I didn't even know she was dating someone."

Rina was surprised at this. Their eyes widened. "So you didn't know too."

"Did she tell you?" Ginka asked from beside her.

"No, I just saw her leave a—a—building with him." They hesitated to say that they had also seen them kissing in front of a love hotel of all places. Rina knew a lot about Juno and her going into the Red District of Shinjuku seemed like something she wouldn't normally do. It all started last month when they noticed a couple of bruises stinging on Juno's arm. Of course, when asked about it, she only shrugged it off as a bike accident.
