Ellie was sat in a taxi on her way to the studio, due to Covid this year they couldn't partner up properly so it's being done differently. Ellie was told she's meeting her partner in the mains strictly studio.
She made her way out of the taxi and into the building, in her mind she was thinking of all the possibilities of who it could be, her first partner. As she walked onto the floor the production crew placed a blindfold on hers eyes, and they told her that her partner was stood in the centre doing the same. Cameras everywhere to film the moment.
"3..2..1..take your blindfolds off" the stage manager said
Ellie took her blindfold off to reveal the one the only, Joshua Bassett
"OH MY GOSH" Ellie screamed because she was starstruck
"Ellie!" Joshua shouted as they hugged tightly.
Ellie and josh were led to the judges table where they had their first conversation as partners.
"So are you ready to start dancing?" Ellie asked him smiling
"As always, I promise I'll alway put 110% effort in" he said back
"That's what a teacher loves to hear" Ellie replied giving Josh another hug
The cameras stopped filming the pair as they walked through the corridors of elstree wearing their visors (COVID protection) into the hair and make up department

Whilst Ellie was having her make-up done she was scrolling through Instagram stories, when she noticed josh walking back into the room, with a bunch of white roses labelled "partner"
"Ellie Daily you have a delivery, from me" he smiled She got up and he handed her the roses
"Thank you josh" she replied going back to the chair and placing her flowers on her dressing table posting her picture on her story

Once the hair and make up crew had left, josh had nipped to the toilet, Ellie decided to get her dress on

She loved the dress, when she put it on she realised that her childhood dream of being on strictly was becoming a reality, looking at her dressing table, full of flowers sent by family and friends and now Josh, she also had a selfie of her and her mum taken two months ago at Ellie's 20th party which made her smile. Josh walked back into the dressing room wearing his first strictly top
