Ellie was sat on her train home to Durham, editing a few videos and texting Harvey

el💘: will do, but I'm teaching later xx

When Ellie checked she saw that the train was pulling up in Durham. So quickly put her stuff away and got off the train.
Outside the train station her family were waiting for her, so when she saw them she ran straight to her mum and pulled her into a hug
"I've missed you" Ellie said
"I've missed you too" her mum replied
She hugged the rest of her family and made their way back home
"Any plans while your here?" Her mum asked handing her a cup of tea
"Teaching and need to give callum the ring back" she replied
"Don't bother, he's useless" her mum said
"I'd just rather do it and get it out the way" Ellie said taking a sip of her drink "oh and there's something I need to tell you both later, but when I get back"
"Ok darling" her mum replied
Ellie and her mum sat talking for another 25 minutes, and then Ellie decided she was going to go and take the ring back
She drove to Callum's parents house back in her car which she couldn't have in London, and it took about 10 minutes
"Oh Eloise, hi" Callum's dad said answering the door
"Hi Michael I was just wondering if Callum's home?" Ellie replied
"He is but why" he replied
"I need to talk to him" she replied
"Okay" he said letting her in, when she walked in Callum's mum was sat in the living room and saw Ellie
"Ellieeee" she said getting up to hug her
"Hello Joanne, how are you" ellie replied, she always had a good bond with Joanne
"I'm great doll, congratulation on you win I'm so proud" she said cupping her face
"Thank you, I still don't think it's real" she replied "right I best go speak to callum"
"He's in his room" Joanne replied
"Thank you" ellie smiled, and made her way up the stairs to Callum's room
She lightly knocked on the door and walked in,
"hey" she said softly
"Eloise why are you here" he said back "not that I don't want you here"
"I've come to give you this back" she said getting the box out of her pocket and handing it to him
"You can keep it if you want" he said
"No it's fine, we're not engaged anymore" she said
"Listen I know I've said this, but it really was a mistake and if I could go back in time to change it I would promise" he said holding her hands
"I know, and I understand that" she said "but don't expect me to take you back"
"I'm not, just can we try and be friends again, like we used to be" he smiled
"We could try" Ellie said
"I promise I won't let you down, and by the way I ordered your Christmas present before we broke up so here you go" he said handing her a present
"Thanks callum, right best be off home" she said standing up
"Bye Eloise" he said
"Call me Ellie" she smiled walking out
"Bye michael, bye Joanne" she waved into the living room as Joanne waved back.
Ellie drove back hone and saw both her mum and step dad sat on the couch.
"How did it go" her mum said
"Great,right need to tell you both something" Ellie said sitting down

"What's up ellie" her step dad said
"Well, basically I've got a new boyfriend" she said as they both smiled
"no way, is he nice, what's he called, can we meet him" her mum said
"Well you watched strictly, then you would know him" ellie said
"Is it josh" her step dad said
"no, someone else" Ellis smiled "he's called Harvey"
"What Harvey as in one of the finalists" her mum said
"That's the one"' ellie said
"Awh I'm so happy for you" Natasha said kissing her daughters head
"Me too els" her step dad replied
"Thank you both" she replied
