"And our next celebrity is Joshua Bassett" tess smiled into the camera "josh hello!"
"Hi" josh smiled back
"So you are actually from America, do you watch the show?" tess asked
"Well last year I was over here for a while and stumbled across the show, and now here I am" Josh smiled
"And how do you feel about your partner" Tess asked
"Over the moon, she's amazing, couldn't be happier" Josh smiled
"Let's find out who it is" Tess said as the footage was shown of when they first met
Whilst the video was playing josh walked up the stairs to join ellie sat down ready for an interview with Claudia
"There we have it, Josh and our newest pro Ellie" Claudia said as they both waved to the camera
"Ellie, your first year on the show and what do you think about your partner, no pressure but he's right next to you" Claudia replied as everybody laughed
"Honestly, I'm over the moon, I just know hes going to do his best and I'm so excited". She replied smiling
"Ellie, would you like to reveal Josh's first dance" Claudia asked
"Of course, josh we are doing .......the Cha Cha Cha" Ellie said excitedly
"Yay, I don't know it but I'm excited" josh said earning a laugh
"So you've seen Joshua and Ellie here, but now here's a little introduction to our newest dancer" Claudia said as another tape rolled, this one was an introduction to Ellie.
"Hi my name is Ellie Daily I'm 20 years old and I am the current British national latin and ballroom champion. I have been dancing Latin and ballroom since I was 14 years old but I did ballet, contemporary and street since I was 4. My favourite dance would have to be the Cha cha or rumba, I love my Latin dances. Normally my dance partner is when I'm forcing my step dad to help me vision choreography, or my younger sister when I'm picturing lifts. All I can say is don't be tricked by my height, I may be 5"3 but I'm full of energy and I'm a firecracker."
"Wow well I'm certainly excited to see Ellie and her choreography waltz on the floor, but our next person to find out their partner, it's Hrvy. First of all I can't start without asking how you are, because you nearly weren't here" Tess said
"I'm feeling fine, I did test positive for coronavirus but I isolated with my family and followed all the government guidelines and now I'm here" Harvey explained
"And we've seen you dance in your pop videos, but how do you feel about dancing on strictly" Tess asked
"Well my hips don't lie" he said shaking his hips a little
"Well they don't, let's look at the moment you met your partner" tess said laughing
Harvey was revealed to be dancing with Janette, although when he went to take his seat next to the floor his eyes caught on something, not something someone...Ellie.
He couldn't help but look at her, she was stunning and had the most gorgeous smile.
Later on in the show all couples were revealed:
Amy and JJ Aljaž and Clara Anton and Jacqui Dianne and Max Ellie and Joshua Giovanni and Ranvir Gorka and Maisie Janette and Harvey Johannes and Caroline Karen and Jamie Katya and Nicola Luba and Jason
"Make sure to tune in next week to see all 12 couples take to the floor in Week 1" Claudia said to the camera
"But for now Keeeeepppp Dancing" tess said as everyone did the famous pose ending the show.
Ellie and Josh walked back to their dressing rooms ellie taking her makeup off, josh looked away whilst she took her dress off and put her comfy pyjamas on for the way home, she then posted an Instagram story

Ellie put on her visor and made her way to the taxi saying goodbye to josh, the taxi took her back to her flat. When she walked in the door her phone beeped from an Instagram notification
