~meeting her family

After spending the night at Harvey's house, it was time to get the train back to Durham, but Harvey was coming with her so he could meet her family.

"Are you ready" Ellie said

"Yes, bit nervous though" Harvey laughed

"Don't be, they'll love you, just a warning isla could have you playing outside with her in the playhouse" Ellie laughed

"That's fine just as long as she likes me" Harvey smiled

The train pulled into the station and Harvey lifted both cases down

"I can do that myself you know" Ellie said

"I know I'm just a gent" Harvey smiled

They made their way out of the station, Ellie left her car there yesterday to drive home now.

Ellie drove for about 15 minutes until they reached the house, so they got out and walked in

"Hey guys, I've got someone for you to meet" Ellie smiled as Isla ran up to her

"This is Harvey my boyfriend" Ellie said

"Nice to meet you all" he smiled

Ellie lifted isla up so they could walk over to her mum and step dad

"I'm Natasha, Ellies mum, lovely to meet you" Natasha smiled hugging Harvey

"Lovely to meet you too" he smiled

"I'm James Ellies step dad" James smiled whilst he shakes harveys hand

"Nice to meet you James" Harvey said

"Isla go say hello" Ellie said to her sister "she gets shy" Ellie smiled

Isla then walked over to Harvey and hugged him,

"And you must be Isla" Harvey smiled to the little girl

She just nodded, as Harvey sat down on the couch Isla sat on his lap

"Harvey I think you've got a new best friend" Natasha smiled

"You were on the dancing show" Isla said

"That's right I was" Harvey smiled

"You are a good dancer" she said

"Thank you, and I'm sure you are too" he smiled

After a bit of talking, James and Harvey went outside to have a talk

"I can already tell, you're going to be so much better with her then callum was" James said to him

"Thank you, I want to be he sounded horrible" Harvey said

"He was sometimes, never made an effort talking to Isla, the when she came and sat on your lap. She never did that with him" James smiled "I'm so glad you and Ellie are dating, she needs someone like you"

"Thank you James, that means a lot" Harvey smiled

"Plus you can be her new dance partner so I don't need to anymore" he laughed

"Did callum never dance with her" Harvey asked

"Never, she's say to him can you help me picture this, and he'd say no and I saw that hurt her so i always has to stand up and say I'll do it" James said

"That's horrible, why would he do that" Harvey asked

"He didn't want her going on strictly, because he said other blokes will be looking at her and saying she's pretty and stuff, plus the strictly curse" James said "that's why he proposed so she'd be 'officially his' when he asked for permission I said no of course, but her dad said yes. Ellie never saw behind his mask, neither did Natasha but I did" James explained

"She's not an item, I'm glad you saw the real him, cause Ellie might have been stuck with him for good" Harvey said

"I'm just glad your with her" James smiled "now here it is, if you break her heart I'll break your face, I'm saying this as her step dad, but also she's my best friend" James smiled
